I had bought an ABS module from the junkyard and wasn’t told that it only comes with half the part. It only came with the motor, not the pump. My mechanic told me the other half is missing. So I called back to the Wreckers and spoke to *** *******. He told me that the Toyota ABS modules, the employees who pick them always mess up the order and leave half the part and send it out. So, I told them this and returned the part. They said it has to go into inspection before they issue a refund. I was fine with that until when I called back and they said to me that half the part is missing. I was completely pissed off and explained to them that I received half of it to begin with. Once I told them this, they hit me with another claim saying that the part is damaged. They’re claiming I dented it. I didn’t even install the part it was left in the same packaging they gave to me. I want my refund of $288 this has been ongoing since August and I still haven’t received my refund. Below is attached the email from *** ******* showing me the part that was missing. I called them multiple times and they say the same things every time. They say they’re looking into it and that’s it. Spoke to **** and ********* in customer service and they weren’t any help

The Prius Anti-lock Brake part sold to customer was
1 of 2 pieces for the Anti-lock Brake system. When the part was returned it was
missing a module that was on the part originally. After trying to resolve the
missing component issue it was decided that Standard would accept the loss of
the part in good faith and grant the customer a full refund. Credit has been issued the customer only needs to
come into our store to collect the refund on their debit card.
