They Sold me a Rv trailer that has an incorrect information on the permit, they also lied about the age of the vehicle in the ad that they posted on ********. They lied about the quality and shape of the vehicle and they said the purchase was all my fault even though nobody told me it was sold as is, an easy thing to miss when youre signing a contact and nobody tells you about it being sold as is. The water tank fell off on the highway right after purchase and I was told this is all my fault for signing on the dotted line, this is not exceptabl3 conduct especially for an rv centre. Also on the contract they had my address wrong, so to me they have more than enough wrong on the deal for me to pursue legal action but I just want the correct permit and a water tank and some money back as this is not the correct model that they were advertising and I have proof of all this. The product is in fact a 2007 not a 2008 model.Business Response

Please find the attached copy of Mr. ********** **** of Sale, we can provide a signed original should you require. Mr. ******** purchased an 18 year old RV in declared as-is condition which was clearly labeled on his bill of sale. The total purchase price of the unit was $7000 taxes included.
After picking up the unit Mr. ******** called to indicate that the water tank had became dislodged on the highway and that it required repairs. ********** manager ***** indicated to him that we had a technician in the *** that day who could drop by and bring the unit back to the dealership for us to look at and that we would not charge him any fee for doing so despite it being sold as-is and the dealership being under no obligation to do so. Our normal fee to pick an RV in *********** and bring it to ************ would be 3 hours @150 per hour or $450 plus HST, this is what ***** offered to waive.
Mr. ******** was unhappy with his offer and demanded to speak to the owner. From the outset of my conversation with him Mr. ******** was aggressive and threatening, in my experience this is not how you speak to people when you're asking them for assistance. I indicated to him that neither his tone or his threats were appropriate to which he replied he didn't feel he had directly threatened me.
When I asked Mr. ******** if he was going to accept ******* offer he indicated that he would not be picking the unit back up after it was repaired which I indicated was unacceptable. When it was clear that we were not going to be able to resolve the matter amid verbal battering from Mr. ******** I ended the call. Before our tech left the area, that same day, I had ***** call Mr. ******** to ask him if we were picking up his unit and he refused to offer to do so.
Mr. ******** has since made several outlandish claims and slandered the company despite our initial willingness to assist him. He has made online threats and even made fun of my weight, neither of which bother me; I would argue however that they are revealing with respect to the challenges we have had dealing with this gentleman.

So tell me why I was lied to several occasions to come out over 200 km drive to come see it, how come they never disclosed that the year was not a 2008 before I came over 300 km to pick it up, why is my address wrong on the sale receipt? So basically they can lie with no repercussions? Not acceptable, and the last thing I heard from Delmastro is that they would not be coming to pickup the item unless I was to speak with **** personally authorizing that course of action, which he never did, he just said it was my fault and hung up in a rant never phoning me personally afterwards. So he's lying because the last thing **** said was that he had to look into it and he never phoned me back ***** did so that again is not acceptable, I'm not taking anything from ***** when I'm waiting to hear back from ****, Secondly why is my address wrong on the receipt and why is the description of the ** wrong on the permit and why have I been lied to on several occasions? and why are you telling me you don't sell garbage to people and the water tank is falling off on the highway, they owe me a correct permit, they should give me a new water tank or some money back, I can install it, bottom line is that they lied numerous times to get me there and pulled a fast one when I got there, either way they owe me a permit and a water tank and if they're getting away with this stuff on a blatantly mislabeled ad then people like that shouldn't be in buisness, there's no slander when its true. Permit and water tank or they can come pick it up and give me my 7000 as this is not the item I was looking for, very easy to lie about the dates as they're almost the exact same product, obviously I don't want them working on my unit as we see what happens when their so called professionals look something over, it ends up falling off.

I am rejecting this response because:
They aren't resolving any issues, the last I heard of Delmastro was when he said he had to look into the situation and that he wasn't going to help me and he hung up the phone, oh that was all after he told me this was all my fault for signing on the dotted line, even though he made me drive hundreds of dollars on gas and time to come out to an ad that is a false advertisement, im not out for any more than im owed, which is a new tank, and my permit up to Delmastro weather he wants to give me anything else for wasting my time. However I do not want them touching this trailer unless they're coming to pick it up for good and giving me my 7000 dollars back, its evident that anything that leaves your lot can't be trusted or it might end up on the highway. So if they want to give me a tank and a permit that is okay but don't expect any good reviews from somebody you ripped off, this isnt imagination land. To be quite honest I don't care if I get anything from you but Im glad that Im raising awareness to your shady buisness dealings, the general public deserves to know.

On July 30, 2024 my wife and myself viewed trailers at this RV sales center. We found a unit we liked and applied for financing. We were advised we had to pay a deposit of $200 before they would process a credit application, which we did. The financing rate came back at nearly double what another dealership was offering so we advised the dealership that we would not be proceeding with the purchase as it was out of our budget. We did not sign a contract or a purchase agreement and the dealership is refusing to refund our deposit. We have had several conversations with the Dealership and they have been uncooperative. While in the midst of financing a camping trailer from the said company. Adituide with **** and *** changed when I decline their $4500 extended warranty. They were pushing the fact that this warranty was a must. Then their financial rate change multiple times each getting higher. He had me sign a zero percent financing agreement and zero cost of borrowing. (Which I believe was safe being zero) Then said the computer is kicking it back at a higher rate we need a person to review it. We will work it out Monday. On Monday he said I would need a co-signer and then offer me the highest interest rate yet, now is 11.+% I said forget the hole thing give me my deposit back. I have great credit and felt this was a lie. I feel this business is guaging me ever since I declined their extended warranty. After asking for money back he said I got you the best deal yet no need to walk away. I can't do business with these people After getting the run around for more $ out of me. I feel if I purchased this trailer it would be set up for me to fail.
The signing of the zero percent agreement was Sunday March 10 my emails since then were ignored except one **** replied I agreed to buy this trailer. I emailed everyday since with no response. They are holding $1000.00 deposit. Even though the advertised price said no money down.Customer Answer
