I had to get to high rpm and the the gears would engage rough. ***** asked me how the vehicle worked when I dropped it of.f. I thought that was an odd question since the vehicle has ******kms on it. The previous owner had change the fluid with non ****** transmission fluid which caused the poor transmission shifting. They ordered all the required parts from ****** *** and ******. 7 days later the job was done. I picked up the vehicle and drove it away it was a Friday after the shop had closed. I notice right away that it was driving the same as when I dropped it off. Delayed shifts, poor shifts, studdershifts. I call ***** he told me to bring it in for the inspection. his Teck took it for a drive and told me that all the shift were within spec. I told him it was not working properly and it was shifting poorly. A couple months after that I was merging on the highway my vehicle felt like a poor shift and was locked into limp mode. I had to stop on the side of the highway turn it off and restart the vehicle. I was driving on the highway and it changed gear and locked into limp mode, I pulled over on the highway turned the vehicle off. I could smell a clutch burning. I waited 5 minutes restarted the engine everything was okay. Lastly l, I was driving up a hill in ******** and the vehicle started changing gear up/down the whole way up the hill. I had to stop on the side on the road again. Again the was a very strong smell of burning clutches. I waited to cool the vehicle down. Restarted and it worked fine again. Note the after all these occurrences the transmission operated in a poor functional manner. He checked level of transmission fluid and said it was good. When press for receipt for the parts order from ****** he did not wants to provide them and for a copy of his inspection to prove he was telling me the truth he said they don't do that and I am not allowed to see his scanner while we drive for safety reasons. I left with no resolution.

Mr. ******** did come back to us several months ago with an intermittent issue that he said only happened twice, he discribed as an acceleration issue merging onto the highway if memory serves correctly. Our technician scanned the vehicle and found no transmission related codes at that time and went for a road test with Mr. ******** and they were unable to duplicate the complaint during that road test. The technician was not hiding the scanner from the customer there was just nothing in the scanner data to show him as the vehicle did not give any issues during that road test. I believe that road test occured late fall or early winter and we have not heard anything since that time. If Mr. ******** is still having an issue it is not something we were aware of as he has not made any further attempt to conact us. His original repair came with a 12 month or ******km warranty and depending on his mileage could possibly still be under warranty until june 21, 2025. we are happy to have a look at the vehicle for him if he is still having issues, he just needs to contact us to set up a time to leave the vehicle.

I am rejecting this response because:

I did not go on a road test with your tech and I was also never shown if their were an codes on the code reader. I made two visits to complain about about my transmission, the first is required by you to ensure everything was completed properly.  The second was to tell you it was still shifting poorly amongst other problems.  Your transmission shop is a 40 minute drive away, I do not have to visit you every week to complain.  I don't feel you replaced all the parts that you put on the receipt.  I would like to see the receipt from ****** Canada,****** USA and the transmission fluid ***** S  was put in the transmission as per the owners manual

    Sincerely,

    ****** ********
