    I found out this information today, the storage locker company I was renting a unit from took thousands of dollars worth of my stuff and took it to the dump with no notice, they claim they tried contacting me via call and email and I have zero records of any email since September about non payment ( I was going through some financial difficulties at the time, but was sending as much money as I could towards getting caught up on payments, I also have it in email format that I was going to be overseas and would be hard to reach. I am active duty military with the Canadian Armed Forces.

    Unfortunately, it states in the contract signed by ***************** that the contents of the locker are ours to do what we want with (sell or dispose) after 10 days of no payment. It had been months since we received payment and by dec 2013 ***************** owed ******. When he did make payments it was never enough to cover the monthly rent and then he stopped all together. Its my understanding the military pays on the 15th and 31st of every month so Im not sure why he couldnt make his monthly rent. I do not have that email stating he was going over seas and nothing written on the contract about that either or an emergency person to contact if something went arise . I tried calling multiple times with no response, left msgs  and also sent emails giving notice or us going ahead and emptying the unit .

    I am rejecting this response because: they are providing false information, unfortunately I do not have it recorded but there was a phone call with them regarding my financial situation with the current inflation issues we are all experiencing as well as other financial issues. Attached is a screenshot of the time stamped and dated email making them aware that I was deployed overseas. They have also provided false dates in their rebuttal. I do not recall this being in their contract but I will make efforts to find the paperwork when I arrive back in ******. They have also said they were going to send back the last few payments I had made after they had thrown out all of my items without notice. I am in no way denying any blame on my end, but no email was sent to me notifying me that the locker was going to be cleaned out as they claim.
