  This company gave us a quote of $1,500 to replace some cracked stucco on the outside wall of a porch. This estimate was already on the very high side but i accepted it since the stucco had to be repaired so that my painter, who was already painting, could then paint the entire porch. Once they arrived on 23June2025 at 7:30am they claimed that the plywood and a few short wood studs behind it were no good and had to be replaced. I felt forced to agree since they had already cut the wall out. Then they claimed an extra cost of $700. This, we were told, was to buy and install about 25 sq.ft of plywood on 4 short wood studs which were 2' high each. As it turned out, the entire work took them only 4 hours, from 7:30 to 11:30 am. For this they charged a total of $2,486. The entire area of work is about 25 sq.ft, they used very little material which was some wire mesh, stucco, the bit of plywood and studs. I objected to the price but they said that that's their price and they won;'t negotiate. I paid it but believe that this company ripped us off. 4 hours of work x 3 workers = 12 man-hours, plus less than $100 for material. Based on that, the total charge should have been about half of what they charged.The fellow ****** who did the work also made disparaging comments about women. At one point calling me something in Arabic which made his co-worker laugh, and at another point he told my husband that i was picky and fussy.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  
  It does not address the issue at all. The issue is that they overcharged us hugely for a small amount of work that ended up taking them only 4 hours to do and consisted of only about 25 sq.ft of new stucco.

  Furthermore, they have said in their response: 

  "Should you wish to discuss this matter further, I am available to listen to your concerns and seek a satisfactory resolution."

  But to date, they have refused to call me and seek any resolution.
