    In February 2025, our snow removal company damaged the front step at our home in ******. My husband spoke with the equipment operator at the time, who confirmed he had reported the damage to his manager. I followed up by email shortly afterward, and the company acknowledged the damage, apologized, and advised that repairs would be completed in the spring.Since then, we have followed up several times (in March, June, and August) without resolution. In August 2025, we were told the owners would contact us, but we never heard back. Its now October 2025, and no repairs have been done. Weve obtained professional quotes for the cost of the repair and are requesting that the company reimburse us to have the repair completed as originally promised.

    We have worked with the consumer and have come to a resolution for this repair.  Both parties have agreed to having a stone masonry company, that the consumer was most comfortable with, complete the repair of the stone step.  The consumer is currently coordinating with the stone masonry company to determine whether the work can be completed now or in the spring. The ************* company will be issuing the invoice directly to us to pay when the repair has been completed. The consumer will be confirming with us the timing once the company has advised her.  We have also offered them snow removal services for this season free of charge for the delay in the repair.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

    Macplow has confirmed in writing that repairs may be completed by either *************** for whom I provided quotes, either now or in spring 2026, and that they will pay the contractor directly. I appreciate their stated willingness to resolve the matteralbeit nine months after the damage occurredand we accept their offer of winter snow removal as compensation for the delay.

    However, the repairs have not yet been completed (and are unlikely to be feasible before spring 2026 due to winter conditions), and no payment has been made to any contractor. As such, I cannot consider the case resolved at this time.

    I accept Macplows proposal in principle, but I respectfully request that the BBB case remain open until the repairs are completed and the contractor has been paid as agreed. I will notify the BBB once this has occurred.

    Please list the case status as: Pending completion consumer awaiting follow-through.

    We paid early for a snow contract. It is our third year using Macplow. They have not plowed my driveway even once this year (but they do have our money).I have reached out by phone and email. No response on either. Very poor customer service!Service was great?We paid. We want our driveway plowed.Insane!!
