    March 16 no access to building..intercom defective.slippery floors in lobby hazard. Response from manager..no one works on weekends.

    I lived at ************** for almost one year (one lease cycle), most of 2024. My experience was not very good. Management basically ignores all complaints. One of the people who works in the rental office in our building has mental health issues, she makes random comments, flirts with tenants, and talks openly about other tenants personal business. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and unethical. When I reported it to the senior manager, she basically said it did not happen, insinuating that I was lying.During my time at ****************, there were constant noise issues. When I reported the problems I was completely ignored. After six months of going without sleep, I had to ask my employer to lay me off because I could no longer function. This situation was very difficult, I lost my job due to lack of sleep. The landlord, the senior manager, completely ignored my complaints. All she did was circulate printed letters to all the tenants on our floor, but it had no effect. The person living directly in front of me across the hallway is pretending to be a student. She walks around in the hallways in the middle of the night, opening and closing doors, exiting and entering her unit dozens of times at all hours of the night. According to the employee who works in the rental office, this tenant has been behind on rent for more then 6 months and she is causing a disturbance, but management is supporting her at the expense of the other ********** far, we've had drug dealers, prostitutes, and possibly people cooking meth in their apartments in the middle of the night. Management supports these disruptive people, while the rest of us working people pay the price for their laziness.Heat included is a myth, I froze last winter, had to buy a heater to avoid the discomfort. Management is disrespectful of tenants rights. This is supposed to be a crime-free building. Complete nonsense, crime is rampant in this building.They accuse you of lying, instead of...

    Paramount Properties (at ***************** - I can't comment on other locations) routinely removes bike racks in winter (Nov to April). This is unacceptable. Where am I supposed to put my bicycle? I (like many others here) live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment. Why is there no covered bicycle parking in ********************** year round? It (both the bicycle and the owner) would be safer there, too. Taking away a safe space to lock up one's bicycle is an attack on the poorest members of society (and in *****************, that's most of us!) as well as an attack on environmentalism as a whole. While the government claims to push for a **************, private ultra-rich companies deny their tennants a safe space to keep the most basic forms of clean alternative transportation. This is absolutely intolerable. Surely, there must be laws protecting the most disenfranchised of us from these unscrupulous corportations. How can the BBB help?
