  I will start this review by stating that ***** is an experienced and effective groomer. I reached out to them in early 2024 as my dog is getting older and very nervous so I thought a home-groom would be the better way to go. Leading up to his most recent groom, **** * ***** canceled and re-scheduled his groom three times (with very short notice). I was more than accommodating, moving things around close to Christmas to ensure I could make things work. While I appreciate everyone can fall ill from time to time, three in a row is a bit excessive, and the excessively short notice provided could have been better managed on their end. Upon arriving at my home, ***l politely removed his shoes (it is a cold, wet, slushy winter after all), while Linda entered my home in her wet winter boots (please note she did NOT mention she "forgot" indoor shoes, nor did she ask permission to enter my home with winter boots on). As I was about to carry my dog up my carpeted stairs to have him bathed, I noted she still had her boots on, so I politely asked her to remove them. She flatly declined, indicating she "NEVER" removes her boots when grooming, and her demeanor for the remainder of the groom was less than stellar. While I can appreciate there may be safety reasons for leaving shoes on while grooming, when I followed up post-groom to request she either bring indoor shoes next time OR bring booties to place over her boots (both very reasonable asks), I was told to find another service provider. I am truly disappointed at this turn of events. It demonstrates a glaring lack of customer service and a blatant disregard for the homes of the clients they serve. Upon reading other reviews, I've noted an average rating of 2.6/5 on the BBB website, and 3.4/5 on Google. After reading all the reviews in their entirety, my wish for **** * ***** in 2025, aside from health and happiness, is that perhaps they take a moment of quiet contemplation to consider that they may be the problem.

  Thanks for the review and as always we will use this to inform potential clients on what expect should they be inclined to try our service.We have indeed invited this individual to find another service which can meet her *************** was her prerogative to discontinue the grooming appointment when the request to remove the boots was declined, (we would have packed up and left the appointment), she in fact proceeded to take her dog to the tub as normal and in fact thanked us for fitting her dog in before Christmas and tipped $31 dollars as per usual at the end of the session.Clients may make certain requests and we will always be honest about what we are willing to deliver and what we will not, we dont guarantee that we will not forget items occasionally which in this case was our change of indoor ******** digging into the ratings quoted above to give some perspective what the numbers behind actually reflect.BBB since 2022 there have been 8 reviews, 3 were 5 star and 5 were 1star. In that time we have serviced 1877 client households which amounts to .26 of 1% of clients reporting ratings of 3 stars or less.For ****** reviews there were a total of 30 reviews of which 17 were 4-5 stars, remainder of 13 (3 stars or less). The oldest review was 8 years ago, in this time span we have serviced ***** households of which .20 of 1% reviews of 3 stars or less by those ********** if only on average a quarter of 1% of our clients are reviewing a 3 star or less rating this indicator demonstrates that we are a *****% overall satisfaction rating by clients served in 8 years. Thanks to this individual for encouraging this reflection in the beginning of 2025!!!!!

  They have canceled on me 10 or of 40 times. I told then I have a back injury and they canceled 3 times since then. One time being 1 minute! Before my appointment. They proceeded to tell me it's my choice to stay at home. Yes, for my at home appointment, I think I need to be at home! They are unprofessional and rude. And make sure to lift every rug cuz they walk on your rugs with dirty shoes, rain, sunshine and snow.

  Thanks to ***** for the feedback, we take these opportunities to ensure that potential new clients gain additional perspectives of our operational policies and procedures!To address our former clients initial comment regarding the number of times we have cancelled , the terminology is actually rescheduled as we always follow up with a revised date/time without requirement of client requesting a new appointment. Also the reference regarding it is clients choice to be home, we propose date/time and client can accept or decline the appointment.Rude and unprofessional is a two way street, typically one should examine ones own conduct to discover how to have positive and constructive dealings when interacting with service ************ for the final criticism of our not removing our shoes, not once in above quoted 40 appointments has our former client raised her concern regarding debris on our footwear. If she had (as a few other clients have), we would have refused citing the following general reasons;-animal waste on floors -construction debris and materials on floors -cases of beverages on floors As a few general examples of safety issues encountered in many peoples dwellings. Then at that point this client could discontinue our *********** a result we invited this individual to source another service provider to better suit her requirements.

  Amazing groomers, always on time, very sociable. Great job every time. All the people who have left less than 5 Stars should get a life!!!! In this day and age , us seniors appreciate the value of home support and if you are not there yet its coming and your life will change drastically, Kudos to this couple who are always pleasant and I know no one has a good day everyday . Exceptional with my spoiled corgis

As communicated at the 2 total appointments for JJ, we do not work when we are sick in order to provide a thorough and knowledgeable service.

  I've been using Paws on Wheels for a few years and I can't say enough nice things about **** and *****. I have 5 cats so going to the salon is inconvenient at best and extremely stressful for our ***********. A mobile pet service of this caliber, professionalism and talent is exactly what I needed. They are very friendly, ******************* and provide top quality service at reasonable prices. If you need a pet grooming service, you should consider Paws on Wheels. They always look out for what's best for our fur babies.

  Another poor rating should be self explanatory and a reflection of unresolved issues and complete lack or care for customer satisfaction. Prices listed are not accurate.It's all truly ashame because she is an excellent groomer.I tried working with them for one year. No matter how patient you are, their dependability and concern for customer satisfaction are not priority to them. Their interactions with clients are one directional. Their phones go unanswered. Regardless of the medium you use, attempts to contact them are not acknowledged. The poor rating and reviews are a reflection of business practices and ethics and overall arrogance. When a concern needs to be addressed he quotes policies and practices intended to absolve Paws on Wheels Mobile from all accountability for their unreliable service and then you will be completely ignored. You are expected to be at their disposal. So unfortunate

  All businesses in any industry have policies and procedures in place to ensure an efficient and effective conduct in daily operations. This as a result allows an organization to continue to operate both profitably and be viable for the long term.Just as a client has a right to choose a service provider so too does a service provider have a right to choose a client be they a potential new client or a repeat client.

  I requested an appointment for three dog nail trims, one cat nail trim and a cat groom. They answered quickly and asked for my availabilities (in email). After 3 days of waiting I emailed again asking if they forgot or are they too busy should I go elsewhere. Their response: Its a busy time of year for all groomers and feel free to go elsewhere. I wasted my time waiting when they could have shared up front we are busy and booking three weeks out, I would have completely understood and managed my expectations. But they just ignored me. I take this as a glance into their professionalism. Disappointing interaction.

There are no representations as to our company accepting any person as a client or providing services at anytime.Just as a client has a right to choose a service provider, so too does a service provider have a right to choose a client. This individual was not a client and was informed that they were welcome to investigate other service providers.
