7/19/25 I paid in full the retainer/contract for legal services. After paying the $4289 and providing some information, they no longer return my calls or reply to emails. I have left several voicemail and sent emails without avail.

In September 2024, we began using the services of CanadaGMC for immigration purposes. CanadaGMC was to provide immigration services to Canada, these services included: discovering what **** options we were eligible for, guidance/assistance with the **** process in its entirety, document collection/verification, submission of our **** application by an RCIC lawyer, career development, biometrics screenings, final **** costs, etc., To begin the process, CanadaGMC requested a payment of $1,490 USD, which they said covered the first part of the process (creating our profiles with the government of Canada (IRCC), uncovering which **** options we would be eligible for, as well as a formal evaluation). On October 13, 2024, we received our evaluation results, which provided more detail on the **** program we were eligible for, this was the Express Entry, Federal Skilled Workers ****. After which, we had a telephone conversation with our assigned Account Executive, ****** *****. It was during this telephone conversation that Mr. ***** informed us that an additional payment of $4,200 USD would need to be submitted in order to move forward with CanadaGMCs services and to receive our ****s. I had concerns with the price, $4,200 USD, which I stated to Mr. ***** during our telephone conversation and in the email sent to him on October 13, 2024. I told Mr. ***** that I felt the initial fee of $1,490 USD was too high as what CanadaGMC had completed was something I could have easily completed on my own (without the use of a company such as CanadaGMC). I also stated my concerns with using CanadaGMC for this reason and asked Mr. ***** why I would use their company over others or doing it on my own. In addition, I asked if there would be any additional fees after the $4,200 USD/if we should anticipate other fees outside of this amount, to which Mr. ***** responded, no, no more fees would be incurred, the $4,200 would be the last and final payment. Signed up for a telephone consultation and paid the registration fee of $39. Received the call from the company and was told that the company provided full services regarding ************* application process. Was told that the total fees for the entire process would be *******, but could be paid in installments. I paid the first installment of ******, but then discovered that the entire application process was not included, only information and that I would then have to pay the fees for my **** application separately. When I said that I no longer wanted to continue with the process and asked for a refund of the first installment, the representative began to argue with me and became rude and unprofessional. The representative said that the $200 payment was a registration fee and would not be refunded, because their terms of service state no refunds. The terms of service actually do include a refund policy at the discretion of the company.

My wife and I engaged Canada GMC to be our immigration consultants. In August 2023, they successfully helped get her initial visitor ***** One the 4th October 2023, we re-engaged them to do her spouse **** application. We had all our information ready and paid the fees by 28th March 2024, however the agency no longer has access to an **** (registered Canadian immigration consultant), which we have since learned they contract and do not have internally. We have asked to terminate the agreement and get a refund, but the agency is ghosting us. We have since learned that the USD 4, ****** fees they charged for "government fees" was a lie, and that the fee amount should have been CAD 1, ******. We also paid USD ******** but the service was never ************ total, we have spent USD ******** that we want a refund for. I have documentation of all the correspondence and a detailed timeline as well as invoices.
