    Dear Better Business Bureau,I'm seeking your help with a billing problem involving East Angus and Lendcare.I signed a food delivery contract with East Angus, financed through Lendcare. I only received part of my order and was told the rest was back-ordered. After months of waiting and having to buy groceries locally, I decided to cancel the contract.I asked East Angus to adjust my bill for the partial order I received and offered to pay that amount in full. However, they have not provided an updated invoice, and Lendcare continues to charge me for the full order. On Lendcare's advice, I stopped payments until the adjustment is made. It has been a year now, and I still have no resolution.I need an updated invoice reflecting the partial order so I can pay what I owe and close my account.Thank you for your help.

    Hello BBB,
    For this file, this customer makes a lot of modifications before the first delivery and finally came to a total of $1870.44. Her contract is for two deliveries for the year, and in the proof you can see the amounts for each. After she received the first delivery, she wants to cancel the second part of it, even if she can't. After a few exchanges, I just decided to cancel the second part of it for the good of East Angus Grocery. I make the refund with Lendcare for the $820 that is the amount for the second delivery. They proceeded with the refund and put the rest of the loan on the same period of time (1 year). She just stops paying them and now ask for a refund on the food she had at her house basically. Now with the stop of payment, Lendcare add a  $0.15 interest each day according to the contract she had with them too.

    I am rejecting this response because it still does not include a detailed invoice outlining the charges. I see from these latest messages that the second delivery was refunded, but I did not receive the first order in full either. I would like to see an actual beak down of what I'm being charged - for each item being charged and it's cost. There is still no clear outline capturing this information.

    Hello, Mrs ***** received twice the document with the amount for what she had. Now she telling Lendcare that she received nothing and she doesn't need to pay. She steel have +/- 500$  to pay for what she received. On East Angus Grocery side the file in close , we make the refund and she just need to paid what she received .

    I see a refund for the second order, and a charge for the first delivery. I did not receive the first delivery in full. Items were back ordered.

    Thought we were paying for a service, but have now signed a credit contract for an amount we didn't know. Was given misinformation when we were told we could cancel at any time. Now won't let us cancel saying that we have to pay the $5000 from the credit agreement.

    Hello, the lady contacted us for information on her contract and we answered her clearly, unfortunately at this stage of the contract we cannot cancel the contract. As for funding, I am surprised that they say they are not aware because she and her spouse signed the funding document. Unfortunately we cannot cancel as marked in the contract, but options for change in the products offered are available.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I was not informed the funding document was a credit through a third company. I have signed the forms, but when signing, only the signature box was open and not the form. The individual who was in our home pushing us to sign the forms, no longer works at the company. I also asked to change the method of payment if the cancellation is not an option, and was told I could not. I am looking to remove my name and banking information from this company, including the third party ********, as I do not feel comfortable doing business further with them.
