Parliament Hill Dental invoice dated: 11/19/2021 - # ****** sent out for the first time 16 months later, they never reached out to me prior by email/phone/voicemail regarding this. At my last appointment I asked if he owed anything, and the answer was "no". Lots of accounting mistakes, contacted wrong insurance company with wrong forms; lots of administrative mistakes over the years. Invoiced $997.20 ranging from August 12th - December 29th, 2020, 24 different charges on the invoice and cannot verify if it is legit. It is my word against theirs, now asking for help from BBB. Practice manager claims that my insurance does not cover these treatments. However, they made mistakes when submitting to my insurance and now claim that the amount is owed 1 1/2 years later. They sent an undated letter late December 2021 stating the following: " We are writing to you as we cannot seem to reach you through email or by phone. It has come to our attention through calling your insurance company regarding the outstanding balance of $997.20 for your children's dental appointments in August 2020 that your private insurance through your employment will not cover the expenses for their appointments as you reside in Quebec. The province of Quebec offers dental services for children up to a certain age and therefore your company's insurance expects the province to pay for their dental. We understand that this is an unexpected large balance and are willing to arrange a payment plan over a few months. If you would kindly contact our office as soon as possible that would be greatly appreciated" I received a letter from **** ****** ********** on April 13th for a total of 1059.63$ (interest) on April 13th, 2022. Ref # *********. This will affect my credit rating and do not appreciate their way of doing business. Their management changed 3 times in the last 3 years; they have had a lot of issues with their billing and accounting. Not the first time I'm getting an unexpected invoice from PHD
