    On June ****** we paid a deposit of $500.00 by e-transfer to Coliseum Concrete to do work around our swimming pool .******** ***** *********** told us on numerous occasions that he would come to our house to start the work but he never came and he never advised us that he would not come either. ( We have documentation of all emails and texts)On July 25, 2025 , once again he told us that he would be here the following week but he never showed up. On August 27, 2025 , after not hearing from him for over one month, we made other arrangements and we informed him that his services were no longer required and requested a return of our deposit,Since then, we sent emails, texts and tried to phone him to follow-up on this matter.On Sept 15, 2025, he finally answered a text message where he stated " Hi, your deposit will be reimbursed"On Oct 3, 2025, he finally answered a telephone call where he told us we would be reimbursed.We waited all summer for him and he never showed up. And now we are still waiting for him to retum our deposit.Could you please help us obtain our reimbursement for our $500.00 deposit as we have not received any services from Coliseum Concrete .Thank you ****** and ***** ********

    We have been in contact with ***** and have confirmed that her reimbursement will be processed. The necessary documentation has already been sent to the accounting department, and the reimbursement is currently being handled. 

    Please be assured that we have a system in place to ensure all reimbursements are completed, and at no point have we indicated otherwise. The funds will be reimbursed as expected.

    The business has reponded to our query but we will consider this matter closed only when we actually have received the refund .We have not been given any indication how long their refund process will take. We are not prepared to wait indefinitively. Thank you.

    This company is ignoring our requests to repair their work. In July 2024 we paid Coliseum Concrete $36, 800 for the following work: replace garage floor, repair garage foundation cracks, parge exterior walls around the garage, replace walkway and overlay front door steps with interlock, replace steps going from the garage into the house.We received a 2 labour warranty on interlock work and 6 years on concrete work. Faulty work that needs to be addressed: Parging is cracking in several locations;Parging has crumbled off in some spots;Interlock is loose on doorstep - this is hazardous;Garage steps are not equally spaced and came away from the wall. Also hazardous.Coliseum is ignoring requests to address these issues. I have contacted the owner, ******** ***** ***********, by text, email and phone, numerous times since July 21. I informed him that some of the problems are a safety concern and also sent him photos. On one occasion when he did respond, ******** said he was planning to come to our home August 13. He was a no show. He also said he was coming to take look on Sept 9. No show.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory IF REPAIRS ARE INDEED MADE WITHING THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS.  Coliseum Concrete sent  me  a text message on   September 22nd saying work would be performed this week.
