      My mom passed away this past May. We went with Pinecrest because her sister was buried in the cemetery. Although the people were friendly, they were very unprofessional. The funeral director forgot to put the *** stick in with the box for her service. We had to call to get someone to run it out, otherwise, there would have been no photos at her memorial. We expected a phone call with an apology but that never came. The only reason she apologised was because we complained to another employee and she left our meeting to get the funeral director to come and see us. Even then, her apology was hollow. We were also waiting for them to follow up and call us for our next steps following the service. That never happened. We had to call them to book a meeting. I also had concerns with how my mom's urn was placed. I talked to the cemetary caretaker who assured me that he would fix it and send me a photo to let me know it was done. That never happened. I went in 2 weeks later to see him. He was unavailable. I left a note for him to call me. I never heard back. That was June.Needless to say, our experience with them was very disappointing and frustrating. At a time when a family is grieving, they shouldn't have to deal with unprofessional people who simply don't care at all.

      After my Mom died we used them to perform the funeral and that went as well as funerals can be expected to go. Later on the family made the decision to have them engrave the tombstone on the grave, well it's been over a year since they were paid and it's still not been engraved. Even though they've been informed multiple times of this all I ever heard was talk of weather issues and it's in the queue. At this point all the family wants is some closure of these trying times and Pinecrest isn't helping much there.
