I was hired remotely as a full-time independent contractor by ****-**** *********, CEO of RedApple Coaching (******) in March 2025. We agreed to a fixed monthly payment, and I was paid for April and May. However, when I invoiced for June (less 3 days of time off), the company withheld payment and suddenly demanded retroactive daily EOD reports which had never been enforced or required previously. Payments in prior months were made without them. When I paused services pending resolution, they accused me of breaching the contract for not showing up and terminated me without releasing the final payment. I was also threatened with deductions for vague damages caused by my departure. These actions feel retaliatory and unprofessional.Throughout the exchange, I was threatened with legal action, defamation allegations, and even referenced to the *** ******************* in the *********** which I view as intimidation tactics, especially as a remote international contractor with limited resources.I am not seeking criminal punishment or an apology. I am requesting that RedApple Coaching be held accountable for:- Non-payment of completed work in ************* enforcement of a policy that was not part of prior practices - Abusive and threatening communication - Unilateral contract termination without resolving payment I am also asking BBB to review this companys profile and history, as this type of behavior toward freelancers can significantly harm international workers relying on platforms for fair, contract-based income.I have full documentation of the contract, invoice, and all emails if needed.Sincerely,**** ******* ***************************
