As a Board member and myself - the Executive Director of a not-for-profit organization - the ******************************************* - have both experienced anger and rage Billing's Bridge O/O - ***** *******- we found another bookkeeper. When we advised ***** that we would like him to complete the year end (June 30) reconciliation and transfer the QuickBooks files and GL to the new bookkeeper, he ceased all communication. We would like to him at the very least hand over the files to the new bookkeeper.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/07/2025

On 20MAY2025 I received an e-mail indicating that CFMHN intended to end its engagement with Billings Bridge Bookkeeping Services.  Though CFMHN indicated that they had identified a successor bookkeeper, no particulars were provided at that time.  As the client is small and only needs periodic attention, and the 2025Q3 quarterly financial reports had already been prepared and provided on 07MAY2025, I awaited further instructions as the fourth quarter could not be completed before JUL2025.

On 23JUN2025 I received an e-mail from ***** indicating that ***** **** of *********** LLP had been retained and that I should transfer files to her as soon as possible as she was ready to take over.

On 26JUN2025 I sent an e-mail to ***** **** asking for a shipping address to which I could send CFMHN back-*** and electronic records (on a USB).

On 30JUN2025 CFMHN's files were shipped by *** to ***************'s location.  The files were received by *********** LLP on 03JUL2025.

On ********* ***** **** e-mailed me regarding password security for CFMHN's Quickbooks file.  We exchanged a series of e-mails and phone calls to resolve the Quickbooks versioning and access issues.

On 07JUL2025 ***** **** e-mailed me confirming that she had opened the Quickbooks file and would contact me should there be any further issues with it.

Thank-you for reaching out to Billings Bridge Bookkeeping.  I am confident that your attempt to reach them results in a positive action for us as the company forwarded the files and a USB for the electronic files to the new bookkeeper.  He did not pay our staff since the time we made him aware we were making a change, and thankfully our staff have been able to secure sufficient finances to cope through the six weeks of missed pay.

From our perspective, since we have received the files, the matter is closed.

    Thank-you very much,
    Sarah
