Beware, our family experienced a long list of issues with the owner. Most of his work was not inline with the Town's DESP requirements. As a certified landscaper, he is responsible for following the guidelines to ensure his work passes inspection. Sadly, his work failed two inspections and he refused to realign the work as per the Town's specs. As an excuse not to do the work, he claimed HST was owing to him more than a year after promising it would get done and than ask for more money when we continued to press him. The owner will claim he was owed HST, which we certainly did not owe him, but regardless, the work was not completed as per our drawings and the Town's grading requirements. He will talk and talk and talk your ear off and overstay his welcome so beware. Many other fair and reasonable landscapers that are more trustworthy

What your real complaint is, you want us to come fix your front steps that have settled within the over dig of a brand new home which can be common problem with soil conditions like yours. We would normally have no issues coming in and doing a warranty repairs, HOWEVER you have not completed payment for the initial work. Therefore the warranty is VOID. When asked to finalize payment most recently, that we would then come in immediately and honor our obligations and do the warranty repair. Payment was refused by **********.

Payment was made in full last year for over $60, 000. We have the payment schedule and documented emails from the owner as artifacts to support the payments and his quote. The owner, only claimed there was outstanding HST over a year later, on a small amount that he neglected to report ********** to cover his costs for materials. He only voided the warranty and came up with this HST complaint after we requested him to repair his faulty work. 70% of his work was rejected by the Town of Oakville and I have supporting documentation from the DESP department. We hired another company to repair his deficiencies so we could receive our deposit. We were not provided with an invoice for HST or late payment reminder for over a year so not sure how a business can make that claim after a calendar year has passed. As a professionally licensed landscaper operating in Oakville, I can 100% assure the public that his work was negligent and not as per the Town's bylaws. I find it extremely ironic that the HST payment claim only came up when he had to repair the work. Furthermore, the owner confirmed via text more than 6 times that he would repair it.*************************************************************** *************. Our family spend over 3 million dollars to build a custom home, All of our bills are paid in full.
