    We just had Stronghouse Contracting complete our chimney repair and I must say it was probably the best experience we’ve ever had with a contractor. *****, the owner is the outmost professional. Very prompt at returning calls and quite knowledgable of the trade When the crew arrived they introduced themselves and explain the scope of the work. There was three gentlemen, ****, ***, and one other of which I cannot remember his name. All were very polite and went above and beyond to make sure the job was completed to our expectations. They were very careful and protecting our property while performing their work. ** ** *** **** ***** ****** *** **** *** *** * *** ** **** **** **** ************ I would highly recommend Stronghouse Contracting for your next project. Excellent work at a very fair price and very professional in all aspects. Thank you again to ***** and his crew for a wonderful experience.

    Has to be one of, if not the best experience I have had with a contractor. Easy and reasonable quote, constant updates on scheduling based on the weather. The 3 gentlemen that restored my chimney were experienced and professional. They took time to answer my questions on day that had a temperature over 30 degrees. All steps were taken to protect my property from damage. Performed a perfect clean up and most importantly, my chimney is perfect!

    On time. On budget. Hard worker and clean work.
    I am happy with the work they did on my chimney.
    They even got rid of the Wasps nest under the soffit and fixed my soffits too.
    I will recommend them to anyone who is in need of masonry work.

    **** * ********* ***** ** ***** *** *** ** ****** ** *** ******* I arranged with several companies to provide estimates on the repair and restoration of our building’s brick-and-mortar. Out of all the contractors I met, I felt most comfortable with Peter’s knowledge and professionalism regarding this project. Our historic Sanctuary dates back to 1889 and required work to repair its Bell Tower and other areas of its adjoining hall that had been previously worked on years ago. Peter pointed out that the wrong type of mortar had been used and when the mortar was ground out, the new mortar was not pushed fully to the back of the brick. He also corrected some other areas that he spotted during the initial visit. Peter, Bob, Mark, and Alex were all incredible in facilitating the restoration work that was needed to solidify our walls. Bob and Mark did a beautiful job rebuilding a short-winged wall that had crumbling bricks and they properly repointed the incorrectly-repaired wall from years ago. The replacement bricks closely match what we have and they even tinted the mortar so it wouldn’t stand out. Bob cut 45-degree miters on the face of some to mimic the existing façade. I was surprised to hear they hand-chiseled the new bricks for correct sizing and placement. They all worked tirelessly even on some of the hottest days of the summer. With having different areas to work on, they made sure I was happy with one area before moving on. Peter and his crew went above-and-beyond in providing exceptional service and you can clearly see they take pride in their work. Peter is very approachable and will explain any aspect of the project with you to keep you informed. He maintains a constant communication with you and makes your project his priority. I highly recommend Peter and Stronghouse Contracting for any type of masonry work you have.
