    I hired them to clean my windows and gutters. After most of the cleaning had been done, I noticed one of my windows had been cracked. It was not cracked before the cleaning. I know this because I open the curtain every morning to let light in for a plant in that room. I saw the cracked window pane and took pictures. At the end of the cleaning the team lead told me the window was broken and it was broken before they started. I told him it was not and I would be contacting glassmate about it. As I was calling glassmate I received a phone call from glassmate saying their employee informed her of the broken window pane and it is their policy not to touch broken panes. I told her the window had been cleaned and sent photos. There are also visible squeegee marks on the glass. She denied it and did not offer any compensation. I spoke with a sales person about it and they transferred my query to the operations manager who parroted the same thing the other woman said. He said based on my photos the window was still dirty. They offered no proof they were notified before I took my photos and no one notified me of the broken window before working in that room, which makes me believe they are covering for each other to avoid paying for a broken window they have caused.

    I initially contacted the company for gutter cleaning, priced at $170. When the crew arrived, led by *** ********* and her husband, **** ******, we discussed and agreed to adding window and vinyl siding cleaning. The work was incomplete and the crew returned to supposedly finish it, which was not done. I did a significant amount of the cleanup myself. However, the bill I paid ($926.60 including HST) was for pressure-washing, not hand-scrubbing, which is what it stated. I discussed the discrepancy with the company owner, ***** ******, and he informed me that a pressure wash was 10% lower that what I paid. I requested an adjustment in the form of a refund but have not heard back.

    I would add that I received THREE quotes for follow-up work, much of which I have done on my own. Two from GlassMate and one from *** *********** company, ******************** (or Magani Renovations, as it appears on the quote). Very confusing. I have not acted on any of them.
