    December 29th 2022 Business provided pest control spray for ********* ants. **** a guarantee with service. Sprayed and gave a 5 year guarantee for product. Verbal agreement was Said that they would come back and spray the outside of house later in year. The guarantee is on the provide receipt. In the spring I then found extensive damage from a large active colony of ants eating the side of my house. Causing me to replace siding and interior wood. When I phoned the company for support I was ignored. Eventually the owner got back to me claiming personal challenges and that he fired his ******** because of this, yet I never heard anything to support me in my issues. In a future email he claimed to have fired a second ******** for the same reason but no accountability was taken. Ultimately the owner took to personal attacks on me, and never did anything about resolving the issue. There tag lag advertised is for your peace of mind. This whole situation caused untold stress and damage to my house beacuse of there unprofessionalism, product ot working and lack of guarantee. Plus we lost 450$ Emails can be provided and receipt.

    Here are the facts: 

    I never met the wife of this client( the one stating all this) 

    1. When it comes to ********* Ants there is a lot of very specific information regarding the treatment and exactly how it works. 

    2. This women never even met me and I did speak to her on the phone she said "they" took care of the ants themselves... and canceled the job by saying we want our money back. I explained to her you can not just cancel my service and then complain about it. 

    3. Also she was very snotty on the phone with me and spoke to me in a very passive aggressive tone. I have been doing pest control for 29 years in ****** and this women was the ruddest person the way she spoke to me, I don't have to take verbal abuse from anyone ever and I won't. 

    3. Also this women went on ****** and said they paid $500.00 and were given a life time guarantee and the truth is I charged them $450.00 With a five-year Guarantee. 

    4. How can I do a Guarantee if a client cancels the job? 

    5. *****Plus all this happened back in Dec. 2022 December so why this women is still so unhappy and reposting her review on ****** just show how angry she is..... 

    6. Maybe learn to speak nice to people on the phone, Cause you were really aggressive and rude with me and that's not acceptable.

    I hope you get help for whatever is causing you to "still being angry " after nearly 3 years that you went to the BBB Jan. 2025 with you anger life.....Life is too short to keep living such a unhappy life **** ******. 

    i've been helping Ottawa families for 29 years but the difference between all those people and you as you spoke to me really rude and cancelled the service. I'm always going to  say something back so you're not gonna bully me on ****** or anywhere else turn that frown upside down.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I do not think the company knows who we actually are. As to state the "facts" this man has never met nor spoken to my wife. So all his statements are incorrect or applicable to a different client. The problem we are having is we haven't even spoken to him, as he hasn't returned calls. 
    Attached are my call history which as you can see has nothing longer than 1 minute, these were voice mails that I left. In the emails from my email address not my wife which has never contacted him, you can see in our communication that ***** has never returned my calls and confused my property for a different client. 

    In the attachments you can see the damage caused by the ants, the clumps of them on the ground, and amongst the frass. I sprayed ant killer spray and shop vac them to get the nest clear. 

    We never canceled anything, we request the guarantee and were never given anything.  

    Below I shall answer his points.

    Correct, that is why we hired a professional in the hopes to have as you advertise "peace of mind" of the correct treatment.

    Correct this women never met you and has never claimed to, I have called as seen by the logs, I have email as seen by the emails and I have reported to BBB as seen now. As seen in the emails I did say we took care of the problem as you never responded to us, and we were in panic at the nest in our home. My email never 'canceled' it asked for your response, which you never did. So you never spoke to us on the phone, and never came to try and resolve the issue.

    Correct you do not have to take verbal abuse as a buisness owner, but you never spoke with my wife. Who if you ever even met you would know is nearly incapable of being passive aggressive. Her character is not one of conflict. I believe that you are confusion clients as seen in the email you thought we were an apartment building.

    Again my wife did not go on ******. I did, correct I said 500 as a rough number, my apologies I was not exact to the dollar. In conversation with you doing the job you mentioned it basicly is lifetime product. As I wrote the review I did mistake that, rather than stating the exact years on the signed contract. It doesn't change the fact that you have still not guaranteed your work within those 5 years. It wasn't even 1 year and the guarantee wasn't held. 
     
    4. How can I do a Guarantee if a client cancels the job?

    No one canceled the Job. You came and sprayed, then later we had ants return, and you never came to resolve the issue. That is what guarantee is for, which you have not fulfilled. We are asking our money back after months of you not doing anything, no house visits, no phone calls and no clear communication on email.

    Correct it did happen then, Still within our '5 year guarantee' again my wife is nothing to do with this, it has always been myself. I could not afford to go into small claims court, and realized i never submitted my complaint to BBB and was reminded because of the fridge magnet you left us that says for your peace of mind. That I should report this, to protect other people from potentially having the same problems with your services.

    We have never spoken on the phone. since you came initially and have only emailed, which have been attached as evidence.  



    As seen in the email interactions. I understand that you have had a great deal of personal strife. That however does not change the way you have actually spoken to us, and failed to resolve the issue which you gave a 5 year guarantee that we would not have.

    What does this mean with regards to the business. Does this reflect negatively on the business if others search them through the BBB. Or is this just his word against mine, does the BBB ***** and make a judgment on information provided. 

    As the consumer who was effected do you have any wisdom on next steps I can take to either receive a refund from them or fix the services, or protect others from the same situation.
