Granata Music was hired to repair & set up my recording studio's guitars. I emailed ahead of time to ensure one of my specialty guitars was possible for them to clean up & and set up.Upon picking up the guitars from Granata, the tech responsible for the maintenence on them, evidently didn't know this particular guitar had the specialty part on it (an Evertune bridge) and wasn't set up correctly. I let him know, and left the guitar at Granata Music with specific instructions on the resources available on Evertune's website.I picked up the guitar, figured it was good enough, and took it back to the studio.Upon using the guitar, I noticed that it wasn't quite right as it wasn't holding tuning. I had another tech look at it, and revealed damage in the mechanical components on the Evertune bridge. A cloth had been shoved in by Granata's tech, for an unknown reason. Another part had stripped s**** components and rendered the guitar useless. It's roughly $300 to repair it now.I further inspected my other instruments that had been a part of the original dropoff, revealing shotty electrical work. They charged roughly $70 per guitar, and they worked on 5 of them. They're all falling apart on me since taking them in. Only one was actually done properly.I posted a story on my instagram to see if anyone else has had issues, and I got upwards of 15 messages from collegues that all claimed the same outcome from Granata.I reached out to them regarding the issue already via email. They didn't accept responsibility, but offered to pay for the Evertune part ONLY. They won't cover shipping, the repair, or even reimburse for the bad service on the instruments.I fear this is happening to a lot of people, and they are advertising a service that they have proven they can't provide. If you look at their ****** reviews, it looks like they are robbing people through these guitar services. Please reach out for any documents that could be relevant (email chains, etc)
