I contacted three foundation companies and five engineering companies about my concerns with my basement. Of the lot, only EC Foundations made an onsite inspection of my house before submitting a proposal. Their analysis was that my issues were minor, that I was already mitigating the situation appropriately, and that it was not worth the very expensive cost of renovation. He charged me nothing for this visit that saved me a lot of money. A class act for sure.

Would strongly recommend! We hired EC Foundations to waterproof our back home wall, fixing 2 cracks and installing 2 window *****. The entire process was fantastic. **** was clear, honest, and considerate in his advice from the time of the first estimate and the crew were a fun bunch with plenty of knowledge and care for the work (e.g. ensured our lilac trees were safe and were happy to answer all our questions).

EC foundations provides excellent efficient prompt quality service and work. ***** and his team are honest and do quality work. They inform you ahead of time of any delays and changes due to weather and come back after the work is done to ensure it was done correctly. Highly recommend.

We were increasingly worried by the cracks in our garage's foundations and decided to get the remedial work done by experts. After receiving some quotes we decided to go with EC Foundations whose work we were able to ascertain at a neighbour's house. From the first exploratory pit (and report from an engineer) to the pouring of the concrete floor, we always felt we were in good hands. Our numerous questions were always answered quickly and with the utmost courtesy. Every step was explained before the work started and the actual work was always done professionally. One aspect that impressed us was that the work was verified by an engineer. Last but not least, the crew ************** up the site before they left. We would unreservedly recommend EC Foundations for any foundation work.

If I had to use one word to describe my experience with EC Foundations it would be "Outstanding". I discovered several cracks in my foundation wall and although I had not had any water damage, I knew that if something was not done this was likely to change for the worse. Finding a good foundation repair company can be daunting, but ***** and his team at EC foundations came through for me. ***** came to my home, listened to my concerns, and made expert recommendations to address the issues. The work was scheduled and done sooner than anticipated. The ** team completed the repairs in a very professional and timely manner, taking the time during the work to explain to me what they were doing. Their attention to detail was superb, and they did such a great cleanup that one area in particular looked precisely as it was before they started. I highly recommend EC foundations.

We started working with EC Foundations when we were considering purchasing a house. ***** took the time to have a phone call with us and answer our questions and provide sound advice on the house we were interested in. He and **** visited the house before we put in an offer and provided us with a quote and their considerations on the repair work. They were really helpful at this stage too. We then hired them to do our foundation work soon after we moved in. It was a full foundation wrap, insulation, etc. A big job. We've been super happy with their work the whole way along. They responded to a couple surprises in the basement once we gutted it. Everything was done on time (and even a bit earlier than we thought). They did what they said they would do. They were all very clear communicators and completed high-quality work. They cleaned up the site, were kind to our neighbours. We would highly recommend them.

We hired EC Foundations to repair our foundation recently. Cracks were visible in the foundation and in the brick veneer. A test pit dug in one day and analysis of soil samples was conducted by engineers *********************. ***** the owner explained what needed to be done and how long it would take. He took care of everything including dealing with the city for permits and with the consulting engineers regarding the needed repair. He also suggested how to proceed to get a large tree on my front lawn removed.This was a major project that required the excavation down to the footings across the entire front of the house, partway down the sides and inside the garage. It was gratifying to work with a group of knowledge workers. Everyone on the team knew their role every step of the way and helped move things along. There was no idle time with obvious collaboration among the workers. All our neighbours came by to comment how good these workers were, how clean their work was, how they were attentive to minimize disruption in the neighborhood. Communication from ***** and the crew about current status and what to expect next was excellent from beginning to end. The work was planned as a two-week project that was delivered on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend EC Foundations to anyone in need of foundation repair.

E.C. Foundation owner communicated effectively with me on all aspects of the repair that would lead to a secure foundation, ******** of E.C. Foundation were so connected in performing the required functions to secure my foundation. They had the skills, were dependable, punctual and proficient in all aspects of performing each required function. Their organizational skills were remarkable. I was amazed at how efficient and effectively they completed each required function. When the job was completed, they removed all the contractor's materials and left my property clean of debris. I am so completely happy with their performance and would highly recommend this company to anyone who is having foundation problems.

The foundation of my ***** square-foot house was sinking in the back corner near the attached garage. EC Foundations (***) dug a trench down to the footings, around about 40% of the house: along the back, all of the side of the house near the garage, and across the front of the garage. *** also excavated the garage to the same level. *** patched and reinforced the cracks, installed a water-proof membrane and a ****** to protect the membrane, backfilled the trench and the garage, and put in a new garage concrete floor. To me, three things stand out about this project: the aggressive schedule, the high quality of the work, and the independent engineering inspections. Let me explain.*** did not quite meet its aggressive schedule. *** had planned to do all the work in just eight work days. ******** could not have done it that fast. In the end, not counting three days of supply delay waiting for concrete (during which nothing could be done), *** finished the project in only eleven consecutive work days. To achieve that result, the *** crew were busy, busy, busy all day long, every day.The quality of the work is excellent. The *** crew were quite careful, especially when patching and reinforcing the cracks, installing the water-proof membrane and its protective barrier, and when putting in the new garage floor.*** uses an independent consulting engineering firm, ***************************. The ***** engineers assessed the damage to the foundation, prescribed the necessary remedies, and then, after the fact, inspected the work to ensure it had been done properly. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the right work was done and that the work was done right.For foundation repairs, you do not want to choose the low-cost bidder.
