    24/08/2021 - Down payment $3,000.00

    Chevrolet Orlando 2013

    Monthly Payment $260.76

Last payment made October 3 2022 Lease Vehicle

The business committed to provide me with 3 year warranty and road worthy vehicle however it was not road worthy.

The vehicle would shut off while driving it. This would happen often ***** ******* **** ** *** ******** *** *** ******** ***** ** * *** ** *** ****** ** *** ******** When the vehicle would shut off I couldn’t steer nor push the brake to stop. The vehicle would fully lock it self for about a minute or two then start it self like nothing happened. The dashboard would flicker on and off as well. I told Ideal Quality Automobiles about the situation and I had to pay out my pocket for a new battery and alternator. However, the vehicle still did the same thing. They wouldn’t do an inspection at all. They said “take it to ** ******.”

In late October my vehicle broke down in London after picking up my babies from the babysitters. I had to hire my uncle to pick us up that night. My children and I waited in a cold car for 30 to 35 minutes. I, then had to hire someone else to take me to my car. I had to hire that same person for a tow to *** ****** ******** ********** where they did an inspection. Luckily my car started their and I was able to take it back to Ideal Quality.

    ******** ******* did the inspection
He quoted (whoever had the vehicle before me never changed the oil) $4,000 worth the damages to the motor from previous owner.

Once I took back the vehicle I asked them to take it back and clear my name. They did not want to fix my vehicle nor give me the amount I asked for back.

I spent $2,000.11 worth the parts and including inspection. That is not including regular visits for an oil change or buying oil jugs. They refund I asked for was $1,000.00 for the tires.

The tires that were on the vehicle were in bad shape. I had to replace them if I didn’t they would popped.

Ideal Quality tried giving me other vehicle however they wanted me to pay $1,000.00 down payment to take it off the lot. This vehicle had previous writing about the car being in an accident.

I couldn’t pay November payment because of the extra expenses of hiring and inspection with Disbrowe
December 1, 2022 Ideal tried taking money out of my account even though they told me I no longer owe money.

    Business Response

    Date: 22/12/2022

******* ********* entered a contract to purchase a 2013 Chevrolet Orlando with 161,321km from Ideal Quality Automobiles Inc on August 24th, 2021, for $7700 plus $1450 for a 3yr or 60,000km which ever occurs first, power train warranty which covers engine and transmission Only.

The deal was ******* put $3000 and make 36 monthly payments of $260.76 to fully pay off the vehicle!

She made 14 payments until November 2022 she missed her November 1st 2022 payment which on the contract she signed states that if any payments are missed ideal quality automobiles inc as the right to repossess the vehicle and at some time in November she call us with a diagnosis that the engine was burning oil and that’s why the car was shutting down because it didn’t have enough oil in the engine to safely operate the engine, the repair needed would be to replace the position rings in the motor for it to stop burning the oil at this time she has driven the vehicle to 217450km and she would only leave her with 3871km left of warranty and then she would have no warranty. I explained this to her and gave her two options

            1.      We would fix the engine for her and she would continue making payments

    Or

            2.      Walk away from the vehicle and it’s 22 remaining payments of $260.76 which is equal to $5736.72 and I would sell he another vehicle

She choose to walk away from her payments and we gave her a lien release to wipe the vehicle from her credit.

I offered to sell ******* a pickup truck on our lot and offered her 2000$ off the price of the truck because she was demanding her $3000 deposit back from the Orlando I explained to her that’s not how it’s works but in good faith I offered her $2000 off the price of the pickup truck. She ultimately walked away from that deal as-well.

The Orlando had no known issues when we sold it to her we have all paper work to prove it the carfax will also prove regular maintenance and oil changes on time. We have all measurements form the safety and the tires were at 9mm when we sold her the vehicle which surpasses expectations for a safety certificate she drove the vehicle over 56000km in 14 months which is above average driving and repairs will be needed to maintain a road worthy vehicle.

Ideal Quality Automobiles Inc feels we have satisfied ******* ********* and will not be refunding any money

    Thanks
