1 starPurchased an oven. The first time we used the oven we discovered that the temperature is at least 60 degrees lower than it should be. The oven door is clunky and does not appear to close properly. The elements on the stove do not heat up enough to use my appliances. After calling customer service I was told the appliance is only eligible for repairs and not a return. Another call to customer service and I was informed the 30 day return policy does not apply as the oven was not purchased through the Whirlpool website. I now own a completely defective oven that we have to hope can be repaired.Whirlpool Canada LP

You say that you appreciate the matter being brought to your attention but have no inte tion to rectify the situation. After having a repair person out to see the appliance we have been informed that there are no repairs possible and the issues we are experiencing are just a result of how the oven is manufactured. I would expect a company as big as Whirlpool to stand behind there product and not hide behind fine print in their return policy. Highly disappointed with Whirlpool.Review fromDavid C

1 starPurchased a Whirlpool Removable Agitator washer with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. The washer quit 1 week after the warranty was up and the extended warranty company will not fix it and has offered me less than what I paid. So I am out part of the purchase price, the 4 year warranty amount and need to buy a new washer for a machine that is just barely a year old. This is totally unacceptable.Whirlpool Canada LP

1 starI paid over $4,000 for a KitchenAid range. Premium price. Premium branding. It failed critically after just 6 years — control board fried, sensor gone.
KitchenAid’s response? 15% off a new unit. No repair support, no goodwill — and worse, the rep said parts might not even be available.
This isn’t about wear and tear. It’s a critical failure of internal components (sensor, control board, wiring), well within the expected lifespan. At this price point, the reasonable expectation is 10–15 years.
What KitchenAid delivers today is stainless steel aesthetics, not lasting quality. A $4K appliance shouldn’t become e-waste in year six.
Never buying from them again — this is what happens when branding outpaces engineering.Whirlpool Canada LP

1 starWe bought a whirlpool washing machine in March. It was used for 2 weeks very lightly. After the 2 weeks it locked closed with a load of laundry inside.
We had a tech come out to fix and had to order a new board (remember brand new).
This still did not fix the machine as it was stuck on an error code.
Again they sent a tech and he replaced several other parts but the machine still didn’t work.
It is now June and we have been waiting 3 weeks for more parts. Lugging clothing for a family of 6 back and forth to the laundry mat. Customer service suggested $50.00 as compensation however this can not even remotely compensate for the time, money *** ****** of this all.
We asked for a new machine as the reliability and confidence in the machine working is not there and they insist that the have to continue fixing it. ** ** ******* **** ******* ** *** ******** What a waste of of $3000.00.
I will never purchase a Whirlpool appliance *** * **** *** *** *** ** ***********Whirlpool Canada LP

1 starI have a whirlpool washer from June 2022 model **********. For the last 8 months it has been leaking during the clean wash cycle. When the last technician came out he determined it was sudsing from the vent area. ** *** *** ****** **** *** **** ******* ********** * *** ***** ******* *** **** **** **** ** *** ******* ****** *** **** ****** *** ** ****** ** ***** ** **** ***** *** **** **** ** *** **** ***** *** ***** *** ******** *** ** ******* ** ***** ****** *** ** ** ****** **** ******** **** ** *** ***** ****** ***** *** *** ******* **** *** ***** **** *** ******* ******* He stated this was most likely because whirlpool changed the design in the vent for my model. This is very poor/flawed design. When he called to speak with an agent from whirlpool he explained that I use HE liquid detergent (**** *** ***** ****) and for large loads I measure to 1 on the cup and for small/medium loads I use less than 1. I measure half way up to 1 and I run the cycle every 30 washes when the clean washer light comes on. Clearly, this is not due to too much detergent being used, yet that is what the whirlpool agent accused me of. It is unacceptable to place blame on the customer when this is a poor/flawed design. The leak damaged my flooring underneath. These models should be recalled and replaced. I would also like to point out that eventhough I know I''m not using too much detergent, the amount of detergent use is not stated in the manual. It's also not stated that leaks can occur due to this problem in the trouble shooting section. Very poor on Whirlpool to place blame on the customer instead of taking accountability for a poorly designed washer.Whirlpool Canada LP

1 starWe bought a Whirlpool dishwasher thinking we were investing in quality. Instead, we’ve ended up in what feels like an endless cycle of repairs. In just 18 months, we've had to call a technician eight separate times. Yes, eight. That’s nearly every other month.
Each time something breaks, we have to wait about a week or more for a repair tech to show up—only for the same issue (or a new one) to pop up again within a couple of months. While we appreciate that the repairs are under warranty, at this point, it feels like a warranty doesn’t mean much when the product doesn’t stay fixed. It's beyond frustrating when your dishwasher is out of commission this frequently, especially with a busy household.
We didn’t buy a dishwasher to do the dishes by hand every few weeks. This appliance has been more of a headache than a help.
Whirlpool, you need to do better. Either stand behind your products with real long-term solutions or re-evaluate the quality control entirely. We’re exhausted, and our patience is gone.Whirlpool Canada LP

I wasn't the one who purchased the stove; I inherited it when I bought the house. I had **** ***** haul it away two days ago and replace it with a ******* product. The risk was too significant for me to continue bearing after the near miss.
