I have had insurance with this company for 25years and I recently bought a newer car and tried to switch my insurance from my old car to my new car. I called about a quote 2 days ago for my new car and the agent said that it would be $95/month as opposed to the $79/month that I now pay which sounded fine. They also said that I would just have to call when I needed it activated. Two days later I called to activate it and they tell me that I will be paying $242/month and no matter what I say about it, that is their final answer to a problem that seems so rediculous and makes no sense at all. They also said that there is nobody that I could speak to until Tuesday (2 business days). And when I called the bank to ask to speak with someone they transferred me to a community manager/supervisor and their mailbox was full which then I had nobody to speak to at this point.

My concerns were only addressed according to them because there was nothing they could do to fix the problem of raising my premiums 50% which is ******* and not very good long-standing customer service. As I have stated before that I have had insurance with RBC for 25 years and they are now saying that premiums have went up because of claims put in by other clients for which I am being penalized for. They lost the quote that they had given me for $95/math and told me that they are sorry but it is actually $242/mth. One advisor hung up on me and when I called back the next advisor could not get ahold of them and the file had disappeared. I also did an online quote seperately which stated that at highest rate would be $171 which was still a lot less then what they were telling me I would be paying. I was getting the quote prior to buying the car so I was sure that it would not be too expensive but after buying it within two days the premium went up drastically. I have now had to switch companies and pay first and last all over again because of ********** and rediculous rate increases which are similar to someone just getting insurance for the first time. It’s offensive and does not give incentive to stay with a company that can treat you like that. * ***** **** ****** **** ** ******* *** ********* ** ***** **** ** *** ** ****** ***** *** ******* **** **** ** ******* *** **** **** ******* *** have caused me a lot of stress with my new car purchase…let me add that this new car is 12 years old so although it is new to me it still has some age on it and no I am not paying that amount with my new company but I would have not ever wanted to switch had RBC been honourable toward me as a customer of 25 years. *** *** ***** **** **** ******* ***** *** **** ********* **** *** ******* ** *** *** ****** ** **** **** **** ***** ******* *** *** **** *** ** *** **** ********. They did not even have the decency to have a branch manager speak with me which is what I asked for, it was an advisor to go handles people personally ******* * *** ** *** ********* **** ***. I am not a bothersome client and this is not something I just feel like being a complainer about, it is extremely upsetting to be patronized and treated like ******* by a company who I have trusted for many many years. This should not be taken lightly and something should be done about the fact that people are not being treated as they should be when they have been trusting a company to take care of their needs for so long. **** * ***** **** **** ** ******* ** ******. People pay insurance in hopes that their insurance company has their backs if something happens, but even if you are an excellent driver you will pay for other peoples accidents and claims in the long run…**** ** ********** *** ******* ********* *** ** ** **** ** **** **** **** ***********

RBC added 2 people to my home insurance and won't cancel without their consent when I pay the insurance and all the belongings in the home is mine. They also renewed the insurance they said they could cancel without my consent. When I call they have people with ****** accents that are impossible to understand that are reading from a script. ******** ********* ** ** *** ***** **** * ******** ** *** *** *****  Their bank remains good *** ********* ** ******** ??

    Very poor policies.... **** ***** **** ** *********
Have been trying to resolve and issue, where a payment was missed, all good and paid that amount, to be told that they can't reinstate the policy as it was before, full amount has to be paid .... Had that escalated and the person that called , didn't bother talking to me and left notes of me answering .... Called back was told that person is busy. 5 phone calls later now my policy is canceled and my other policy is also canceled ... Tried to talk to a lady again that was not listening and explaining that they have called 5 times, when I was told the person looking after my case is off today.
Been with them for over 10 years and this is what I get ...
Few years back, my auto policy was canceled no warnings or anything......
No appreciation of customer since ***** took over parts of it

My concerns were not addressed in anyway. I was pretty much told "Get out of here, we don't need your business". If my concerns were addressed, I would have to look anywhere else.
Very poor handling of the whole case.
