    Contractor came by to estimate the cost of widening the driveway. Estimate included; removal of bushes and replace the retaining wall with the current material. He said it would look exactly the same (it doesn't) and be done to my satisfaction until payment. He mentioned that the boulevard may need to be paved if not enough interlocking bricks (I provided the interlocking brick). I emailed on day 2 to say that the driveway needed to be widened a little more so the car doors wouldn't get damaged (the reason to widen it in the first place). Day 3 his son called and said it would cost $4500 over the estimate, due to ashphalt needed since not enough interlocking (time frame & labour the same). The son called to change the plan saying that he wasn't the one who gave the estimate, but this is the cost now. I said use the interlock from the boulevard but don't asphalt it as I didn't want to pay more. He didn't want to leave the job undone, as it would look bad on him. I had no choice but to let them continue, as they already started. They put me in a situation I didn't know how to handle. *** ********* ****** *** ****** ********** *** *** ******** **** **** ***** ********* **** ********** **** ** *** **** *** ****** ** ******** *****  When he didn't get more work, I felt he increased my price. My husband said all 3 of them were there (dad and 2 sons) with other workers, so the dad was there to explain, since he gave the initial estimate. **** ********* ****** * ***** *** *** ***** *** ***** *** *** ***** ** ****** *** **** ****** *** ***** *** ***** ****** **** *** ******* **** ******** **** * ****** *** *** ******** ** ** * **** *****. I want some of my money back.
