    Hi, I applied for internet service on CIK's website a few weeks ago and made a $89.5 payment as well. CIK scheduled a service activation appointment for April 10th, 2021 but for some reason their technician did not show up. Then I had to follow it up with them and had to spend a few hours on the phone with their customer service agents and supervisors to reschedule the appointment for April 14th. But their technician did not show up again and the were unable to activate my internet service. I was supposed to work from home due to the pandemic so there was a huge adverse impact on myself and my family by this issue. Eventually, after several followups and spending hours on the phone with CIK they could not activate the service and I had to switch to another provider (it took me 10 days to get access to internet). Then, I requested a full refund from them and asked them to send someone to pick up their equipment from my place but they have not refund the money yet.

    ***** ******* ****** * ***** ** *********** ***** ******** ********** I was a customer for almost 2 years and it came to a point where I lost my job and couldn't make my monthly payment. They cut off my services for non-payment and I decided I would make the payment as soon as I received my first paycheck from my new job. About a month later, I looked at my account again and noticed there was a balance showing of 2 months worth of services. So they actually charged me another month of service while I was cut off. I called the office to speak to somebody about the issue and told them that they cannot charge me for services that I did not receive. The agent on the phone would not listen to me and didn't seem to care about the issue and was making all kinds of excuses so I asked to speak to his supervisor. The supervisor was just as bad and was speaking right over top of me and * ******** *** ** **** ** *** ******* he was not listening to me. *** ************ **** ** *** ***** ***** ** **** **** ******* ** **** ***** *** I ended up hanging up the phone because I realized there's no way they're going to help me or even try to rectify the problem. They don't seem to care about customer service *** * ***** *** ***** ******* ** ******** **** ** ***** ** ******** *******. *** ****** **** ** ********* **** **** ******** ** *** ****** **** ****** *** **** ******* **** * **** ** ******* ** **** **** ******** ****** **********

    Dear ******, My name is Jack D., senior customer relations manager of CIK Telecom. This email is regarding the BBB Review which we received for your CIK account. First of all I would like to apologize to you for the dissatisfaction you had with the services and we would definitely try to resolve your concern from our end. Yes, we noticed that your services were blocked due to non-payment since 29th May however since it was never cancelled by you until 9th July, we were continuously being billed for the active line at your address via our underlying carrier. When you called up on 9th July to cancel the services, you were also informed to return the devices back to us but unfortunately we haven’t received the devices yet and that is why your account has charges added for the device purchase fee as well. Our team had been constantly trying to reach out to you by phone but were not able to connect with you. In order for us to resolve your query, we would request you to please provide us with a contact number where we can reach out to you to resolve your concern.
