Approximately 3 months ago we have been getting phone calls starting at 7:30 am then 9:30 am and then 10:30 am from Global Credit. My husband answered the phone the first time there was a pause then a lady came on and said that he owed money to **** **************. He said he was ill and did not know anything about this and said speak to my wife. He handed me the phone and she would not speak to me. The calls have continued EVERYDAY at these times and refuse to speak to me. I did say we know nothing about this and send us proof/details to what this file is. I was told she did not have to do so. I have told her every time we answered the phone that they must stop calling and only deal via mail I also sent letters to the company requesting the same thing and I did include our new mailing address. I also sent a letter to ****'s head office asking for information and for this to stop. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED EXCEPT THE CONTINUAL CALLS. I have a loan with this company and have not been able to get ahold of them since Feb 12 2021 my loan is for $3,590.90 I have been paying $238 a month since . Been trying to call them to see when my loan is done and they have not been answering me. My calculations is that my loan is long been paid but they keep taking money out of my account .Initial Complaint

My bank account was assigned to 3rd party creditor. I started to make payments to Affinity Global. Halfway through completing my balance, they transferred my file to another agency, without informing me. Only $300 some posted and my EMTs totaling $1028.00 have been withheld by Affinity Global, not sent back to my bank (****) OR not sent to the new creditor. They simply kept it? They kept my payments, which **** has been trying to track down, but with very little support from AG. Affinity Global has made no effort to resolve this issue, and will not address it appropriately.Initial Complaint

I moved to Canada in August 2022 and was assigned this phone number. Since then I have received weekly robotic calls from Affglo “pertaining to a matter at ******”. As I know this doesn’t concern me nor addresses me by name I have contacted the company several times to inform them they have the wrong number. I have attempted a submission on their website, an email to customer service and have left a voicemail. No one has attempted to contact me and the robotic calls continue.Initial Complaint

8:00 am - 8:15 am ************ March 10 2023 I recieved a phone call from this company at 8:00 am, I answered, it was a recording so I hung up. 8:08 am I received another phone call and it was a recording again I waited on hold for a few minutes and was transferred to a bill collector. He asked for my information and I asked for a manager. He refused and hung up on me. 8:15 am I called them and was put through to a manager. The manager refused to provide his collector license number and hung up on me. This is now considered harassment for excessive calls and he never provided me with his collection license number which is illegal in British Columbia. *** ** *** *** *** **** ** ********** they have called me everyday this week Monday through Friday.Initial Complaint

They have been harassing my work. All my debts to Affglo has been paid since January 17, 2023 by third party, *********. Since this day Affglo has taken $500 more out of my account. Upon talking to me about the situation they said it was a good thing I caught it because they never closed my account. They said they would refund me but could not provide a date when my refund would be provided to me. It has not been refunded to me as of yet.Initial Complaint

For the past 2 years I am receiving messages asking me to call back to resolve matter. I tried and receive message no one can take my call. I do not owe anyone any money . I believe this is regarding someone who has used my address for a ******* account as I received mail for this person several times in past. I accidently opened one envelope and that is how I know .This woman has never lived at this address and i do not know her. I called ******* several years ago to resolve issue but clearly nothing has been done. I am not a ******* customer and never will be .
