    I live in a condo and i am the owner I received a bill for repairs from management with very little information and false accusation of my bathtub being overflow the repairs were not to my unit it was the unit under mine and the bill is $305 it says it was on 5/5/23 I believe I am wrongfully billed my bathtub was never overflowing I called the manager to discuss the bill he said he did not want to spend his Friday arguing over the phone and hung up on me.

    We have received this complaint and have reviewed the issues with our management team.

    It should be noted that we are not a business but rather a Condominium Building with maintenance staff that do minor repairs for private property owners in the building.

    The bill that this owner received was for minor repairs for damages to two other units below her. The damage was caused by the owner having the shower curtain outside of the tub while the shower was running so that the water was not running into the bathtub and down the drain but onto the floor and then leaked down to units below. 

    The incidents dates are recorded as May 5th and then again on May 12th. The owner was advised on both dates by our maintenance staff on how to properly use the shower with the curtain having to be on the inside of the tub and pulled completely across the shower opening to prevent any water coming out and onto the floor. The owner was also advised that any water found on the floor should always be cleaned up asap to prevent this from happening again.

    I am rejecting this response because:
     My shower curtains were not out of the shower and I have no water damage in my unit it is impossible that I could have caused the water damage in unit below me they are billing me based on assumptions without investigating further with it being pissible pipe damage which is not my responsibility it is unacceptable what has been done to me and i pay condo fees which part of it should be insurance to outside damage of my unit.
