    BBB says leave review instead of filing complaint:Had internet service with ******** for years. Unfortunately in spring 2025 they sold my account to ******************, a subsidiary of *****. It was disaster, problems from first day. Internet did work, slower than should have been, had to keep refreshing pages. Problem was customer service, people couldn't answer questions, would guess answers, would say would call back and wouldn't. Always 'higher than normal call volumes' when called. But they couldn't even say what normal call volume is. After 9 or more phone calls and numerous emails, gave up on them and switched to another company. Cancelled account, received refund of last day following week. Two weeks later their collection department began calling, leaving silent messages, when I answered and asked to speak with manager they hung up. These people can't answer a yes/ no question. No honesty. Sent text messages after paid **** in July telling me account overdue, when it obviously wasn't. Falsely recorded bills paid 2 and 4 days later than when actually were. They, Altima, would be a farce, if they had not wasted so much of my time and energy. Should go out of business, completely incompetent.
