Occurrence: Sunday, October. 31. 2021 At: London Travel Inn 738 Exeter Rd London, Ontario, Canada N6E 1L4 Room: 111 We rented a jacuzzi suite double bed room, expecting it to be with the BBB as stated on the COVID plastic screen at the front desk of the hotel. They required $200 deposit +$141 for the rental of the room for the evening. After receiving the key, we went to inspect the room, I 1st checked the drain to the jacuzzi tub & pulled out a big wad of hair from the drain. We left, went to front desk & requested the tub be cleaned before we returned in a few hours. After arriving back, we found the tub still had not been entirely cleaned, so I cleaned it myself with bleach & water discovering more hair in one of the jets. Shortly after eating, we discovered cockroaches, managed to catch one & put it in the plastic cup to show the hotel staff in the morning. Throughout the night as my partner & I went out to smoke we witnessed a number of ************************* lack of security to the doors where anyone can enter, open alcohol consumption in the provided smoking area. I woke up through the night feeling like something had bit me. My partner woke early in the morning to the same feeling, like something had bit him. There was a small bite that was bleeding on him. Was told there was continental breakfast, awoke to find they were not serving it. We complained to the staff, called the manager after we left saying how unhappy we were & wanted a refund. They refused. I still have not received my deposit back. Places like this should be ILLEGAL!
