In June 2023, ********* ***** ******* ** Con-Strutt agreed to excavate my home driveway and by the end of September 2023 Con-Strutt had laid the asphalt. In October 2023, I reported to ***** that there were already cracks in the driveway through which weeds were growing. I have a text from ***** dated October 16, in which ***** says he will fix it. ***** went on to promise several times that his crew would make repairs in November 2023. This never happened, then the winter came. I followed up several times with *****. He made promises to repair the driveway after April 2024. I reached out several times, but by October 2024, ***** was ignoring my texts. On October 23, I reached out to his office and e-mailed ****** ******* following a phone call with her. She said she had never heard of issues at my address but promised that in 2025, **** from Con-Strutt will schedule driveway repairs. After reaching out again by email and by phone, ****** confirmed on May 12, 2025 that ******* will be here to excavate between May 20 and May 23, 2025. An email I sent on May 21 was ignored. I have not seen or heard from them since.

      Business Response

      Date: 08/07/2025

      Hello,

We have spoken to **** and have set a date for repair for the week of the 14th. You can confirm with ****. We did have the initial repair scheduled for May, however we were rained out and our schedules were all pushed back. We did notify **** that we would advise him of a new date. It is important that our repairs are done on specific days set aside so we do not have to mobilize for only one property. If we are rained out, our schedules are pushed back for weeks because of the size of our projects.

Once the prep is done, we will then asphalt his driveway on the next mobilization.

      Thank you,

      Kon-Strutt Construction

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: we agreed that repairs were to take place during the week of July 14, but this did not happen. Con-Strutt had all week to get the work done as it only rained a bit on Thursday afternoon.

Con-Strutt continues to promise repairs that do not happen. So, I also reject this proposal because a bit of rain should not delay repairs by months or even weeks.

Con-Strutt was able to put a new driveway down on schedule. Now, Con-Strutt needs to make repairs a priority.

Next opportunity for repairs is the week of August 4. This gives Con-Strutt opportunity to plan, and it gives me time to arrange to be home all week.

Please schedule repairs for August 4. If it rains, make it August 5, etc. I'll arrange to be available all week to move the cars.

      Sincerely,

      **** *******

      Repairs are complete!

****`s guys showed on Monday to repair the cracks, then another crew showed yesterday to seal the driveway.

I was concerned about the visibility of the crack repair, but **** says that the repairs will fade over time.

I believe reaching out to you and the BBB was a factor in getting this resolved. **** called me while they were sealing the driveway, asking that we close the issue as resolved.

      Thanks,

      ****
