    I phoned them and spoke with the owner, ****************************, and told him that I had spilled water on my computer and it no longer worked. He asked me to bring the computer to his place of business which I did. He told me that I needed a new computer and that he would get it for me. He stated that he would transfer all my files on my old computer and put them on my new computer. I picked up the new computer and he said you are good to go - just turn on the computer and you will see your files. I turned on the computer when I got home but could not even access my email... Over ****** emails unfiled were there but of no practical use as they were not filed. After fruitless discussions, I hired 2 other firms to fix the problems which they did. He charged me $1,400.00 which included the cost of the new computer and his services. I asked for a refund given I received no value and his promises not kept.

    ** veut repondre en francais car c'est plus facile pour moi de m'exprimer dans ma langue premiere ** suis tres decu que ********************** soit pas satisfait de mes service avec plus de 20 ans d'experience ** peut compter sur mes doights le nombre de client qui n'ont pas ete satisfait.

    oui ********************** est venu me voir avec un laptop qui fonctionnait tres mal apres avoir eux un degat d'eau ** lui ai suggerer d'acheter un nouveaux laptop a prix de 1100$ tout inclus(non pas 1400$) et oui jai mentionner pour ses documents que j'allais tout transferer et j'ai ete tres clair ** ne peut rien faire avec les courriels car son addresse couriel ** n'ai pas acces a ses information

    ** lui ai parler au telephone et lui as suggerer d'appeller la compagnie qui as faite son addresse courriel il ma dit que apres 70 minutes au telephone sa avait ete regler mais qu'il avait ***** ******** non classer ** lui ai dit qu'il peut me rapportter son ancien laptop pour que ** puisse essayer de le replacer mais il n'est jamais venu me porter le laptop tout sa sans frais biensur

    mon offre est encore bonne si il veut me l'apportter ** ferait tout dans mon possible pour regler le problem

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    My computer takes up to 3 minutes just to come on when I boot it up - just unacceptable and never warned about that.

    My files from my old computer were never transferred over to my new computer as promised and that has made running my business very difficult.

    No password from my old computer was transferred over and as such I had to hire another IT company to do that for me allowing me to at least review what was done or not.

    I could not access my email on the new computer and again had to hire a IT company to do that and allow me to contact my customers.

    In summary, I paid $1,100.00 and got very little for it other than a new computer which I initially could not use.

    Tout mon respect pour vous BBB mais je trouve sa dommage d'avoir a passer par un intermediaire comme vous pour ce probleme

    le probleme au debut etait les courriel maintenant la vitesse pour allumer et les mot de passe manquant. Encore pour les mot de passe je n'ai pas vraiment control sur sa c'est pour sa que les mot de passe existe si tout le monde pourrait avoir acces sa ne serait pas vraiment securitaire.

    Tout les documents ont ete transferer et je trouve dommage que je n'ai pas ete contacter avant les autres compagnie informatique car mon service avec ********************* est encore valide.

    Si je ne suis pas au courant des probleme je ne peut pas faire grand chose 

    Mon offre est encore valide si ********************* veut me contacter pour les probleme future sa va etre avec grand plaisir que je vais le servire.

    Sa fait presque que 2 mois que la vente as ete faite et je ne connais pas encore la demande de ********************* donc quest ce que je peut bien faire a ce point.

    Si sa peut aider je peut reprendre le laptop et rembourser le client sinon SVP me dire quest ce que je peut faire

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Is ******************* offering to return my $1,100.00 as it is not clear re his response?

    The password is on the original  computer that was water damaged and never forwarded to me as promised - so it is a "catch 22"!  I could not gain access to the original files that again were promised to be put on my new computer.

    I made it easy for him to contact my email host, ***** re gaining access to my email, and he emailed me saying he could not contact them and yet 5 minutes later, I simply called their phone number (provided to *******************) and they solved my email problem in less than 10 minutes!!!

    And no, I will not be allowing ******************* access to my new computer as he has in my eyes proved to be incompetent at minimum and dishonest as maximum!

    in summary, ******************* did not do what he promised and what I asked for!
