    On July 24, 2024, I purchased a solar panel for $55 CAD from Rodrigue Innovations, but the panel was defective. On August 6th, 2024, I requested to return the item and a refund. On August 7th, the business Owner, ****** **********************, accepted to issue a full refund, but had me wait until August 11th to drop it off. I was only able to drop it off on August 13th, but Mr. ********************** has yet to issue a refund. He had asked for more time and I gave it to him, but sent me messages today saying that he could "ghost" me or "block" me, that I should not "take advantage of his compassion" and that he could "run away and not give me my money back, just like anyone else would do." I would like the BBB to take action against this business, as this is a completely inappropriate way to handle consumer service, and to ensure that I receive a full refund.

    On July 24, 2024, *********************************** did not purchase an item from Rodrigue Innovations. She purchased a solar panel charger I had decided to sell on ******** marketplace. When she returned the item and requested a refund, I had tested the product and it worked fine. I believe the micro-USB charger I had given to her for free was defective. This is my mistake. However, the micro USB cable was never listed on ******** marketplace, only the working solar panel. Since this is a personal matter and ******** marketplace has no return policy, Rodrigue Innovations was never involved. There were no taxes charged nor any receipt. When she had informed me the solar panel was defective, I had decided to give her a refund. However, due to conflict of interest, I had revoked the refund. Rodrigue Innovations does not take any responsibility for the actions of *********************************** and ****** Rodrigue. Since there is no receipt, no taxes were charged, and the payment was done by ********* personally sent to me, I believe this complaint against my company is void.

    Note: The evidence I have provided that the solar panel does indeed work is a video demonstrating the working item. Since videos aren't a supported file type I will provide a screenshot of the video with the red light indicating it is receiving sunlight and transmitting power into any device. Should the video be required, I will provide it.

    I am rejecting this response because: you clearly told me in person that you were selling this item as part of your business, and then you reaffirmed that through ******** Messenger in the screenshot above. I also feel that you have no sense of responsibility, integrity, or respect, and there is absolutely no way that I am just going to give you $55. You clearly have no intent of making this right, but I will by taking you to court.

    I am rejecting this response because: you clearly are not destitute. You have the money on hand and you are chosing to be dishonest, dishonorable and disrespectful. It has been a month and a half since this whole thing start and I am sick and tired of it. I have started the process to file a court case against you, if purely for the reason that you are arrogant and insulting. You do not seem to grasp the severity of the situation you have created.  My husband and I have tried every way imaginable to get through to you but nothing has worked. Send me $55 by tomorrow, September 11th, or I will be at your doorstep to serve you with the obligation to appear in court.
