Today (Nov. 21st) I went to Farmboy on *********. (In ******* the shrimp was advertized cooked or raw shrimp 340g bag for $6.99. I was charged $13.99.I went to retrieve the sign saying $6.99 to the chashier to recieve the appropriate price adjudtment. The department manager refused to sell the bag of frozen cooked shrimp (340g) at the advertised price. The sign did not differentiate how many shrimp in a bag, it simply said $6.99 for 340g cooked or raw. The sign was over the original sign for this perticular item that I was purchasing. I had removed that sign to show the cashier. They did not place tje sign back afterward. This is false advertising. They should have sold it to me at the price (clearly) advertised. The photos are of the sign I removed as well as a photo afterward. Anothee photo is when they did not replace the sign. (The old prices were now advertises, prooving this sign should no longer have been in this section. As well as the cooked bag of shrimp 340g. The department manager was extremely rude and I hope recieves the appropriate training needed to successfully work the position he is in.

The ******* (*****) of the Trainyards Farm Boy store is refusing to issue a refund of $67.79 for a sandwich platter on the basis that Farm Boy has never had any issues in the past with the sandwich platter. In my view, his refusal to refund the cost of the platter is unacceptable business practice.

On Nov 17, I ordered at the Trainyards store a Meat and Salad Sandwich Platter but later that day, I changed my order to a Salad Sandwich Platter and was told the change would be done.

On Nov. 20, I picked up the platter, I saw the order was wrong, it was not changed to salad sandwiches, I was told by the staff that the platter was prepared off site in a warehouse and the store could not correct the order. I then bought extra salad sandwiches and left the store with the platter.

When I got home, I noticed 3 problems with the platter : (1) the sandwiches were very dry; (2) the meat sandwiches had egg salad mixture on them; and (3) the sandwiches were cut unevenly i.e., large and tiny pieces.

I then informed Farm Boy by phoning the supervisor (*****) of the Deli Counter at the Trainyards store to report the condition of the platter and I asked for a refund for the platter.  She said she was sorry about the platter and told me to ask for her when I would come in for the refund.

The next day, (Nov. 21) I went to the store for the refund and the ******* (*****) told me he had to get approval from head office because the refund was over $50. He said he would get back to me once he contacted head office.

On Nov, 24, having not heard from the ******* on the refund, I called him only to be told that since Farm Boy had never had any issues in the past with the platter, no refund would be issued. The ******* said he would give me a $20 store coupon. However, as I paid close to $85 (platter: $67.79 and $17 for extra salad sandwiches because of the store's error in my order), his offer is unacceptable. I hereby request a refund of the cost of the platter.
