The proprietor of the business is harassing my fianc and I because we did not go with his bartending services for our wedding. He has sent threatening text messages and disclosed that he has shared personal information with a friend and has made calls to other businesses that we have hired requesting confidential information which he has no right to be privy to. My fianc and I decided not to go with the proprietor ********************* after speaking with a former client of his we found on ******** when trying to research his business before paying a deposit. The former client informed us of how he used bully tactics to force her to pay more than initially agreed and to accept certain things she was not happy with on the day of her wedding. We decided to cease contact and did not respond to him after that until he messaged us today to threaten us. I have attached the text correspondence between the proprietor *** and myself.

    Business Response

I would like to take this time to respond to the comments left by ******************.

****************** contacted Pro Bartenders on December 31, 2023. As is our practice, I replied to Mr. ******* within a few hours. Through text and telephone we discussed the requirements for his upcoming wedding and a Service Agreement outlining the services Pro Bartenders would provide and the cost was sent to Mr. ******* on December 31, 2023.

On January 22, 2024,Mr. ******* informed Pro Bartenders of a change in venue and an updated Service Agreement was sent. On January 24, 2024, Mr. ******* and I exchanged texts regarding payment of the deposit to secure the date. Different options, e-transfer,PayPal, money order.

On January 30, 2024,I reached out by text to Mr. ******* to see if he had had a change of heart in using Pro Bartenders' services. Mr. ******* did not reply or acknowledge the message.

After not hearing from Mr. ******* for many weeks and suspecting a scam, on February 28, 2024, I contacted the venue to confirm there was a wedding booked on the date Mr.******* had provided. The owner of the venue confirmed there were no events booked. I then contacted Mr. ******* on last time. During this final contact the conversation descended into an argument.

To address Mr.********* accusations directly: I have never sent a threatening text message, requested confidential information from any other business; and at no time did I bully Mr. ******* to use our services. I have no idea how My. ******* could have possibly contacted any former client as I value the privacy of all my clients and do not disclose any client information on any social media platform.

I can provide screenshots of the entire text conversation with Mr. ******* and an email from the owner of the venue confirming there are no bookings on the date discussed.

I hope the Better Business Bureau takes this into account and removes Mr. ********* false and defamatory review..

    Sincerely,
    *********************
