    Occured in mid December 2024. Aecon gas division installed new service to a house across the street from us. They created a large hole in our property and claimed they would be back in the spring to repair it. I have had several emails since June 9th trying to get someone to come and fix our lawn. To todays date July 28 i have yet to hear bcak from anyone. Two months of waiting no replies. ***** ********* ********* **** ***** ********** **** ** ********

    Aecon is contracted out by ****/*** to lay ***** ***** Optic underground network via property owners residing in Winnipeg. Fall of 2021 we hag 5 holes within our front yard filled in with sand. Spring 2022 a thin layer of top soil and a unknown grass seed was applied, we advised Aecon that the seed didn’t grow so they supplied us with a pail of seed that we applied over the previous fig holes plus along the remainder of the front yard. Spring of 2023 about 80% of the grass was dead. We manually rolled over the dead grass and applied ******* grass seed and watered for a 7 day period,

    Finally, we have a repair crew doing the “Partial” repair of our yard. I said partial as the Aecon Sup would not do a complete repair of the yard even it was their seed that caused damage to a portion of the yard. We had to purchase 25 Sod to complete the repair.

    I don’t  know why to took almost 2 months for a 2 hour repair(Partial), 3 sup visits to have a “Partial” resolve. We would have settled for the initial $300 claim and fully repair ourselves!
