    We engaged Hickory Dickory Decks Newmarket when we decided to replace our 20-year-old deck. *** was very responsive at various stages of the project including consultation, scheduling and execution. His crew was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable.
    We’re enjoying our new deck which has had many positive comments from family, friends and neighbours.
    We highly recommend Hickory Dickory Decks Newmarket.

    From the initial consultation stages through the construction and follow up upon completion of the build, the team was responsive, transparent, and available to discuss any questions we had. ***** and ****** worked closely with us to learn our goals and design ideas, and after showing us many examples of previous decks as well as sample materials, they created mock ups that worked perfectly for our space. They were open to discussing any changes we wanted to make.
    During the demolition and construction phase, the area was kept clean, the team was professional, and the build began and finished well ahead of the initial proposed timeline. The team also added a sound barrier around our air conditioner, fixed our backyard entry gate, and rebuilt some stairs on the side of our house at no additional cost, even though these items were outside of the scope of our initial project.
    The team was always pleasant to work with, they explained everything thoroughly, and delivered on exactly what was agreed upon. We felt comfortable knowing the exact price of the project, with no hidden costs or fees, and we felt confident in the experience of the team. We could not be more grateful and appreciative of our new deck from Hickory Dickory Decks!

    ** The team that sold and installed the deck were professional with good workmanship.
    The ******* deck was not good. The colour was not maintained and in year two the deck colour was faded
    . ******* and Hickory Decks have not honoured the warranty. Three calls to head office have not been returned. The representative is involved but not effective to date.
    So, the install and finishing are excellent.
    The support on the warranty is very weak.

    Hi ****, we have spoken with the local owner as well as ******* and ******* has told us they are issuing a credit for a replacement based on the warranty claim. From our understanding they've left a message for you with all of the details and explained the delay. We are very sorry that the process has taken so long but we are confident that this is now on the right track to getting the decking replaced.

    and completed on May 25/25. ***** was very knowledgeable, and hard working he did a fabulous job. Would highly recommend hickory dickory decks for any project you could need.

    Jason and Siobhan (Gravenhurst/Bracebridge) make a great team. The whole process was very professional and they took the stress out of things like dealing with permits and they were flexible when our ideas changed along the way. Our finished deck is exactly what we had hoped. Jason is very meticulous about his building. Thank you!

    We had a great experience working with Andrei, Chris and Tony from our initial contact through to the finished project on our three tiered deck. Chris did a great job explaining everything as well as keeping us informed of any changes that where necessary. Tony did an amazing job finishing every part of the project and the finished product meets your expectations. Their work area was always cleaned up at the end of each day and the yard was left in good shape when they were completely finished. We would highly recommend them.

    Ian and crew from the Newmarket location did an amazing job with my new front deck. I have had many compliments on how nice it looks and how well it was built. Ian kept me up to date on the schedule, the progress and on any problems that were encountered along the way. I would highly recommend them.

    Hughes from Hickory Dickory Decks has been a joy to work with. He went out of his way to make sure my deck was everything I dreamed of. He answered all my questions & gave me multiple options to choose from with all the prices so I could make an educated choice at each step. He even looped me in on the permit process so I got real time updates as to where the project was. All the prices were either exact or less than the contract.
