    - We hired Just in Time Maintenance on June 30, 2024 to paint the balcony and roof on the second floor of my elderly mother in laws house. I assumed that the quoted cost would include sanding prior to painting. - When they arrived on July 30, 2024, I warned them that the white paint that is on the sides of the balcony is super old and needs a heat gun and scraper to get it off (I painted the lower deck myself & experienced taking it off). They insisted that their sander could do the job. - They claimed that the two front posts (made up of 2 x 2x6s & an inner board) were rotten and could not be sanded. They told us this after it was painted (so waisted paint). When I went up to take the photos, I confirmed both 2x6s are solid, they just didnt remove the old paint prior to painting. - I found after they had left that they missed painting the window frames, other parts of the balcony, and spilled white and black paint all over the tin roof. I contacted the owner at that point. - While they were here I asked them to put the shutter pieces back in (it took them 10 minutes). They also offered to remove 4-5 hives, which they did. Was fully expecting to give another $20-$25 for their effort, they did not charge us. - They came back on August 7, 2024 to try to clean the paint on the roof with no luck. We did not want the roof repainted for fear of having to deal with more of a mess in their wake. Owner refused to give our money back; his response was to block me on ******** messenger.

    Hello, 

    I do apologize for our late reply but we had not received an email version and the paper copy was just given to us Thursday evening. 

    I have read my clients complaint and I would like to say I do absolutely see my lack of professionalism as an owner. 
    With that being said as it states in her email and the screen shots of our conversation that we did try and rectify the situation by cleaning the areas of paint dripped on the roof, and offered to repaint the roof to meet her standards, this was the result in the hornets nest which we were not notified about. 

    Also the miscommunication with needing a heat gun and scrapper should have been notified to us before hand as other homes we have done we have had no issue with a sander. We wanted to make the client happy and give them what they asked for which was a painted second story but ended up sacrificing quality in the long run. 

    At the end of the day I am a maintenance worker, I never stated to be a professional painter and did it to help. I again want to state I did try and rectify the situation by trying to clean up the dripped paint, offered to paint the roof (free of charge).
    I have spoken with my team and have since terminated that staff as he did not want to learn the trade or show quality service like I want to portray for my business. 

    Per my attachments we did offer a refund and asked her to take her post of social media but has since not done this or responded to our messages.
    Both myself and my wife (on her personal account) reached out to her to rectify the situation and ask for how she would like her payment refunded. 

    I have no problem at all reimbursing her as I do understand she is an unhappy client, with that being said. I would like a percentage taken off and I'm hoping we can reach an mutual conclusion as we did come to your home, took out multiple bees nests and put up shutters. Also with the social media post it has made a clients cancel due to the back lash.

    I am rejecting this response because: it does not cover the damage to the roof that Just In Time Maintenance's employee's did.  We've received a quote to correct all the issues and paint the balcony properly ant that was $1125.  I've messaged ******** partner, as ****** has blocked me from messaging him in both his personal and business account, ******.  She again offered our money back and I've since countered with an offer of $800 to settle all of this.

    As for ****** not claiming he's a professional, please see the attached posted on ******** shortly after his team painted our balcony.  I believe his post is false advertising if he does not have any "expert" professional painters on his team.

    We have came to an agreement Just in time maintenance will send ****** to *** by etransfer by end of week we have been in contact with her she has provided us with the etransfer info and both partys are happy   We would like to also sincerely apologize for the unprofessionalism and the work that was done by the staff as well the staff that caused that issue have also been terminated for there carelessness and unprofessionalism towards *** is a great customer  thank you *** and thankyou ********************
