HFL forging ******* us out of ~$3,800 and we'll have to invest another $1,300 make the gate they sent us usable. * **** ** ***** ****** **** loosing thousands of dollars to them.
The original sales person I worked with, Daksh, was kind and honest. They committed to building a modern design with a long handle centered around the lock. I paid the extra money for our custom measurements bringing the total cost to $3,759. The gate arrived 9 weeks after their promised delivery window. Egregious and frustrating, *** *** ***** * *** *******
    However, the gate arrived:
1 - With the long handle NOT centered on the lock
2 - With many scratches (on the handle and on the front face of the gate)
3 - With sloppy welding on the hinges
4 - With mismatched touchup paint (red on dark brown) on the hinge
5 - The post hole for the lock so small after shifts in weather, the gate can't close or lock.
I let Daksh know and he agreed to fix everything. He emailed me "We can bring the shipment back to us, Fix it, strip down the powder coat and re-powder coat, and ship it again in a secure manner." To save time and money I looked into having the work done locally to save HFL Forging from eating the hefty shipping costs.
I emailed HFL Forging the quote to have the corrections done locally. I received an email back from Meet Chauhan informing me that Daksh no longer worked there and they would send me a spray paint can and sandpaper to fit the scratches. I insisted the handle needed to be centered to match the design promised and to honor HFL Forging's promise to resolve all their errors. I forwarded Meet the email with Daksh confirming HFL Forging would correct all of their errors at no cost to me. Meet stopped responding over email.
I'm left with having wasted $3,759 on a gate that doesn't close or lock and looks ridiculous. To make the gate usable and looking like what we ordered we'll have to pay and additional $1,300 to a local contractor. ** *** ***** **** *** ********
