My daughter attended this business for a pedicure on September 3, 2022. During the procedure, the nail technician hurt my daughters toe. My daughter explained twice to the technician that she was hurting her. The tech continued the painful procedure. Three days after the pedicure, my daughter’s injured toe erupted with an open, bleeding sore. I have photos. It’s been 4 months and her toe won’t heal. We’ve seen two doctors. One prescribed an antibiotic, which did nothing. The second doctor suggested it wasn’t an infection, but instead the injury caused a severely ingrown toenail. She referred us to a specialist, who says my daughter needs a minor surgery to correct the toe. I’ve been to this salon 3 times, hoping to have our money reimbursed. The owner, ****, says he won’t refund our money and I should just call a lawyer. We paid $84.75 for a gift certificate. After the pedicure, there was $24.15 left on the certificate. We want all money repaid; the cost of the pedicure, plus the remaining left on the gift certificate. When I initially informed the owner of this injury, he lied to me, saying he wasn’t the owner, and that his girlfriend simply worked there. I caught him in that lie. I showed him the photos of my daughter’s toe, and told him I have the receipt and can provide a bank statement proving my daughter paid for the service at his salon. He knows I simply want my money back but refuses to pay.
