      Sent an item for return, and it was stuck in transit. When i submitted a ticket about it I was told to wait and given a timeline. I submitted a new ticket later, but before their deadline and they told me its too late and they wont do anything about it. Shipping cost $20 for a small package and then they lost an $800 package.

      Thank you for your recent Better Business Bureau submission. We are deeply sorry that your item as not arrived. Unfortunately, just like a return policy at a store Canada Post does have a Claims timeframe. Claims for Domestic items must be started within 90 days of the shipping date. Your claims for loss ticket was created on April 26 2025 which is over the 90 days. Item was mailed on December 17 2024, 90 days from this would have been March 17 2025 that the latest a claim could be opened.       I recently sent a parcel via Canada Post. On top of already being charged and expensive rate for the shipping, I was also charged a further fuel surcharge that was 20% on top of the shipping. Then the shipping and fuel surcharge were added together, and I was taxed on both. Help me understand. Using fuel to deliver parcels is part of the core business of Canada Post. Fuel is already taxed heavily. Why I am being gouged for both by Canada Post?

      Thank you for your recent Better Business Bureau submission. Our fuel surcharge is designed to compensate for the volatility in fuel costs. Canada Post manages the largest and most intricate transportation network in Canada. As a transportation company, we are directly impacted by the volatility in fuel prices. To manage volatility in fuel prices, Canada Post employs a fuel surcharge which is adjusted monthly, upward or downward, as fuel prices change. The differentiated fuel surcharge takes into account the differing transportation needs to meet our delivery standards. Canada Post was the last company among our competitors to implement a fuel charge. Our competitors have had fuel surcharges since about 2000 while Canada Post introduced it in April 2003. Unfortunately, GST and HST are applicable to the fuel surcharge. The fuel surcharge is considered part of the price for the postal service (transportation service) and is subject to GST/HST.       I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable delay and mishandling of an expedited parcel I shipped on August 2nd, 2025 from the Rexall/Shoppers Drug Mart location on *******************************************************************************************,on I specifically paid for expedited shipping as the parcel was of urgent importance it was being sent to my brother so it could be delivered to OUR mum, inthe (ICU) I was advised that it would arrive no later than Friday, August 8th, 2025. Based on this information, I informed the receiever, that the item would be at the hospital on time.On August 8th, stating expected delivery, when I checked the tracking later on, I discovered that the parcel had not even left ******* and had been delayed until August 13th. This delay completely defeated the purpose of paying for expedited service. The situation was extremely distressing, as the recipient urgently needed the contents of the package by August 8th.The delay caused significant emotional stress for me and the family, given the critical health condition of the intended recipient. I also have concerns about the handling of the package in transit and whether it will arrive in acceptable condition.Despite paying additional charges for expedited shipping and not receiving the service I paid for I have not been offered a refund when i called, I am requesting the following:1. A full refund of the expedited shipping charges I paid.2. A review of this incident so that customers are not misled about delivery timeframes, especially in urgent medical situations.3. Confirmation of the packages current status and assurance of safe delivery.This matter is extremely important to me, not only because of the financial aspect but because of the impact this failure had on a critical medical situation. I trust that the Better Business Bureau will take this matter seriously and assist in resolving it.Thank you

      I was returning package to shipper as item did not fit. Paid for extra insurance on package. Sent back April 14/25. To date package has not been delivered to shipper. Put in a claim for missing package. Canada Post now expects me to contact shipper to prove package not delivered. If they have mo record of delivering it should that not be the proof. Now Im out the cost of the ordered item the postage and the extra insurance paid. WHY do we have such an incompetent postal system. Its obvious why they are losing money. Will never use Canada Post again. Much better and more competent to use a courier service. This is a warning to all use any other service. Canada Post dont reply to this complaint as your words mean nothing!!

      WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Canada post is simply the worst. They are useless at completing their one job - to deliver packages. Unsure as to where my package is even located at this moment. And they couldnt tell me either. I am extremely upset and beyond ****** off. The most they can do for me is send an email and hope for a reply that is absolutely ********.

      Canada Post failed to deliver my item ordered June 26, 2025. Failed to deliver and rescheduled for delivery for 3 times! June 27, June 30, then rescheduled again to July 2, now to date they cannot deliver and they said they can only deliver next week. It got delayed because of labour disruption so from June 27, rescheduled delivery to June 30, then July 2 then now July 7 because they do not have enough people at the facility? The item is just a tiny thing and their facility in 66 Avenue of Canada Post cannot deliver because of labour disruption as the reason indicated. OPEN BOX is a failure in deciding to send a package, if they choose Purolator, it could have arrived same day as the other item ordered at the same time. This is just so frustrating and disappointing. You cannot do anything as a customer other than wait. The item is very light! I don't understand why the delivery can be rescheduled 3 times and would take more than 10 days from order date to arrive when the similar item is ordered same date June 26 and it already arrived June 27. OPEN BOX, your customer service, aftersales, sales service needs to improve. I experience it worst as your first time customer and hopefully I will never need your service/item in the future as I will avoid it at all cost. I hope other customers of yours do not experience this worst service.

It appears that in this Service ticket the Supervisor has spoken with you and was able to ensure that you were able to pick up the parcel on the Monday from the Postal outlet.       I was expecting the delivery of my passport today and had been closely monitoring the status throughout the day. The system was showing that the parcel is out for delivery and will be delivered by the end of day. When the Canada Post person arrived at my building, I anticipated that they would bring the item directly to my unit, given the importance of the document and this is how it had to be done. That didn't happen. The truck simply left without any attempt to deliver to my door. I went downstairs to check my mail box and found a delivery notice instructing me to pick up the item on the next business day. It was a delivery notice for a delivery that even didnt happen. The Canada Post man didnt bother taking my mail out of his truck. Since the next business day falls after the Canada Day holiday, it means an additional delay. Now I have to wait for two days to chase my passport at some address where it will be dropped off at some point. Canada Post staff does not do their job. They don't deliver mail.They do not want to do their job: when I attempted to file a complaint with Canada Post, I couldnt do it because their website requires a service ticket which is impossible to obtain there. I then called customer service for assistance, but the representative informed me that their system was down and refused to provide a service ticket; ( he said that I do not need my passport today?!!!) or assist me in filing the complaint. His supervisor also refused to help. Around 5 pm I went my local Canada Post office. Of course, they didnt have my passport.Happy Canada Day from Canada Post way to go!

      The solution was for them to start redirecting my mail to the post office because they refuse to place my package in my package box instead of crushed into a mail slot and no reimbursement or resolution happened, they told me to basically take it. So they contacted me yesterday, to tell me they won't be doing anything to resolve the issue. They still owe me nearly $1000 dollars in damages. So no. They are still scammers

      Im extremely disappointed with Canada Posts ***************** I paid for this premium option with the clear expectation of fast and reliable delivery, as advertised. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. The package was not delivered by the promised date, and the tracking system continuously updated with generic "delayed" messages but no actual movement or meaningful information. Days passed without any progress, and the last update in the tracking history remained unchanged.What made this even worse was the complaint process. I submitted a formal complaint explaining the urgency of the delivery and the importance of the item arriving on time. However, my request was not handled in a timely or professional manner. There was no proper follow-up, no useful updates, and no sign that anyone was actively working to resolve the issue. It felt like my concern was simply ignored.I trusted the ******** service because it is marketed as the most efficient and fastest shipping option Canada Post offers. But this experience proved that paying extra does not guarantee better service. Not only was the delivery late, but the lack of customer support during the delay made the situation even more frustrating.Given this experience, I have lost confidence in Canada Post's ***************** I can no longer rely on it for important or time-sensitive deliveries, and I will not be using it again. A service that fails to meet its own basic standards and doesnt respect the urgency or needs of its customers is not one I can recommend. ********************** seriously needs to improve both its delivery execution and complaint resolution process.

      Wish I could leave no star. Why is Canada Post still active. I paid for ****** shipping for next day delivery. This was May 9th. My delivery date keeps changing.. New delivery date is May 16th now! The item I'm waiting for a a brand new MacBook Pro for work. Canada Post is costing me a lot of money. I think we SHOULD ALL STOP USING CANADA POST.. OH! Not to mention... the workers want to go on strike? HAHAHA THEY CAN'T EVEN DO A SIMPLE TASK.. Yet let's ask for more money.. How about do a good job first!
