On May 15th, I went to the gas station to get some gas. I saw that their sign advertised a price of $1.13. I purchased $20 worth of gas, when I noticed that the price at the pump advertised the price of $1.21. I talked with the service attendant inside and he told me that their sign was broken and that it would not be fixed until next week. I feel like this unfair to not warn the consumer about their sign being broken, as there was no other signs posted reflecting the issue.

    Dear **** *********,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. First and foremost, I would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion you experienced at our gas station on May 15th.
We take such concerns very seriously and strive to ensure transparency and fairness for all our valued customers. I regret that the sign displaying the gas price was not updated at the time of your visit. Unfortunately, I was out of the country on vacation when this incident occurred, which delayed my ability to address the issue immediately.
Although we had placed a temporary notice on the pumps to inform customers about the discrepancy, it is possible that it was not clearly visible to you at the time, and I truly apologize for any oversight on our part.

As a gesture of goodwill and to make this right, we are more than happy to offer you a refund for the difference or the full amount of your purchase. Additionally, please rest assured that we have now fully corrected the issue and taken further steps to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience so that we can process your refund.
    Kind regards,

    ***** ****
