    Hi. See below for summary of the issue. Aug 10th, 2022, a technician had come to our home to service our alarm system. Immediately after his service call, we had 3 false alarms (oddly they couldn’t be heard within our house) but the fire department came to our house 3 times all within minutes of each other. This happened at noonish and the technician left just prior to noon. On Oct 4th, we received an invoice for those false alarms. Which I had attached as requested my smart4u via my email on Oct 5th at 11:27am. I have been following up since then to get resolution on this matter. ** ********* ****** *** ** *********** *** **** ******* We have already submitted payment as we did not want to be get into any arrears with the city however we feel this amount should be reimbursed to us as the alarms when off due to the technicians “fix” and we have been asking smart4U for assistance as the technician did not leave us an invoice for his service call. I repeat early asked that the contact Center agent (or service desk) escalate this matter accordingly to assist us in getting a refund of the full amount. FYI – as mentioned the technician also did not leave us a copy of the service call. Please note that I have called and emailed multiple times to get this matter resolved. Dates of email/phone communication are: jan 18, 2023 Jan 6, 2023 Jan 4, 2023 Dec 19, 2022 Dec 15, 2022 Oct 20, 2022 Oct 11, 2022 Oct 5, 2022 Oct 4, 2022 *********** **** **** **** ********************* *** ************************** * ** ** ** **** *** ** *** ** *** **** ******* ** **** *** I think all I need is an invoice for the service call ** ******* **** **** ** ******* *** ***** The fine from the city for these false alarms caused by the technician was over 1k. This is a significant fine that we have paid and expect reimbursement for as the false alarms were not our fault. Please help* ****** **********

    I had an alarm system with *** Security. My contract had ended with them. I was paying month to month for the service monitoring. I was approached by sales rep from Smart4u. I was not notified about a 3 year contract. They made me sign some papers and left. I had a tech after a few days. The only thing the tech did was install a ******* doorbell camera. The doorbell hasn't worked since it was installed. They did not upgrade my system at all. ********* when you sign up on a new contract, you're supposed to receive brand new equipment. ************************** I was going month to month as they activated my old system which I own, upon completing my contract with ***. I just called Smart4u to cancel they system as it hasn't worked for me from day 1. They told me about the contract which I was not aware of' nor was I given any details of the contract. *************************************************************************************************************************************************
