    I purchased a set of tires from Canadian Tire and was explicitly told that installation was included in the total price. However, when I brought my vehicle in for the scheduled installation, I was presented with a document to sign by an employee ***** *****. He continued speaking to me while I was reviewing the form, which distracted me, and I was not given the opportunity to fully read it before it was taken back.

    After the service was completed, I was unexpectedly charged $273.92. When I inquired, I was told that the charge was for tire balancing, which was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I had been led to believe that all installation costs—including balancing—were included.

    When I raised the issue, both ***** and the auto-service manager ******** placed the responsibility on me, claiming I should have read the paperwork and asked the right questions. I was never clearly informed that additional charges would apply, and I feel that the process was ********** and the fees were hidden. I was not given a choice once the service was completed and was required to pay in order to retrieve my vehicle.

    I am requesting a refund for the undisclosed service fees and an acknowledgment that this practice was ********* and ****** to the customer.
