      Was in a car accident on last week and the tow truck, ********* ******, tells me that their shop is an approved repair shop by my insurance. This was at 8:30 at night so I agreed to have it towed there.
      The next day, I learned from my insurance that they are not an approved shop. I show up at their place on Rutherford asking to have my car released and they gave me a hard time. They claim to install original parts, not all shops do, do my research, they’ve worked with my insurance company before, they work with other insurance companies, etc…. Eventually, they agreed to verbally release my car but needed the insurance to pay for towing fees. My insurance emailed, called them but not returning calls for 2 straight days. They were screening the calls as when I called, they answered. Got them on a 3-way with the insurance so the phone conversation was recorded. :)
      My car was held hostage for 6 days as they wanted $3K for towing and storing my car for 2 days (officially). $1K for the tow and $2K for breaking the work order I signed the night of the accident. I repeatedly explained the only reason I signed was they claimed to be an approved repair shop. They denied being an approved shop stating I mis-understood the phone conversation the night of the accident. *** *** *** ****.
      They eventually agreed to release my car for half the original amount asked. **** *** ***** ** ******** *** ******* * *** ** ****. John, James, Anton, Bill and Eshan, tow truck driver, are all the people I had to deal with. They are all in on it. **** ******* ***** ** ** **** ***** ** *** ***** **** *** ******
