On Tuesday, January 14th, 2025. I put a $5.00 into the change machine to get coins for my dryer. The machine kept my $5.00 bill and did not dispense any coins. I went to the Shell gas station (same owner) to advise what has transpired. He called his boss assuming the owner and the owner told him to have me fill out a form. I asked to speak to the owner and the clerk gave me his telephone number ************. He was rude and refused to give me coins for me to get my clothes dried. He told me he need it to review the camera footages, t0hen he asked the clerk to go to the coin machine and they experience different angles of putting paper money into the machine and I was told that I was blocking the view ( like I'm supposed to know). I felt humiliated and discriminate by them specifically the owner he basically accused me of defrauding him for $5.00, I had to take my wet clothes home. It's has been almost a week and he hasn't made any contact with me. The owner is rude and discriminate against women. ************************************************************************

    Hello,

Thank you for following up with the incident.  The Shell owner contacted me to pickup the $5.00, however, he's not listening and keeps insisting that's my fault for putting a rip dollars bill (which isn't the issue). He's rude, cutting me off at every words. He calls me *** when he has see me and I'm clearly a women.

    Thank you,

    Business Response

There is a form that consumers have to fill out when they have a complaint.  She put in a crinkled note in there and it got stuck in the box.   She came in and asked the cashier about it but she was yelling and screaming at him.  He was so scared he gave out my cell phone number and he wasn't supposed to do this.  We have a policy that they have to fill out a form if they have a complaint and it clearly states at the bottom that the cashier can't refund money.  I have a contract with Shell.  I reached out to her and told her that her money was here and to come and get it.  I tried to contact her twice and the third time she responded and was yelling.  The money is waiting here for her and she has to sign for it.
