This company was contracted by our neighbour at 8 Cambridge Court for repairing their backyard. Work was carried out on May 11th and May 12th, 2022. The workers elected to use 2 tractors to remove and deliver materials from the roadway to the backyard traversing the front lawn. The tractor tire tracks ended up straddling the property of both 6 and 8 Cambridge Court. For 2 days, it drove back and forth over our front lawn well over a hundred times WITHOUT any prior notice to us or our permission to do so. In the process, one of the tractor tires tracks caused severe ruts, sunken, compressed, uneven grounds and holes. Damage to my lawn is still evident with random spots of patchy baldness; and if not careful one can easily trips and breaks an ankle while mowing the lawn over the damaged uneven ground. The tractor also tore off a portion of our anchoring fence post at the backyard as well. Although we had photos of their tractor running over our lawn, it was not until on May 13th when I mowed my lawn that I discovered the shocking damage. When their workers came back on Monday May 16th to finish the job, we made a complaint to them. One of the workers took down my email address and promised to report to her boss. Within the hour, someone who claimed to the "owner" of the business showed up at our door. He was unapologetic, and kept repeating and repeating "the lawn will grow back on its own; it is just an old fence, what do you want me to do about it?" We repeatedly told him: "restore our property to its original condition." We reminded him that regardless how old that fence is, he is still liable. In addition, we told him he has committed trespassing without permission and causing property damage in the process. He mentioned something to the effect that he will attend to the issues. To-date, over 2 weeks later, we received no communication or any hint of remedial action by this company.
