    I am submitting this complaint regarding a tree/snow removal contractor/owner of Superior Grinderz, ***** *********** ****, who operates in Angus, Ontario and advertises locally on social media.

    On February 20, 2025, I hired *********** **** and his coworker ****** to perform snow and ice removal services at my home due to significant ice damming. The agreement was made via verbal discussion and text message, and I paid him $1,500 in cash, which I have documented with text messages and a matching bank withdrawal.

    Instead of using appropriate tools properly, *********** **** used a chainsaw near the gutters and roofline, which caused serious damage to my property. * **** ***** *** ***** ******** ** *** ****** *** ** *** ********** ********** *** ***** ** **** ** *** ******* *** ***** ****.

    I contacted him on May 4, 2025, when I discovered the full extent of the damage, and requested reimbursement. He has since blocked me ** ********, blocked me via text *** *********, and has not responded to any further communication.

    I have retained:

    Photos of the work and damage
    Screenshots of our text conversations
    Proof of payment
    Evidence of being blocked and ignored
    Quote on damage

    Please advise me on how best to proceed safely.
