I am a 75 year old, widowed* **** ***** **** ******* ******* ********** **** ** ******** * **** ***** ********* ****** *** *** ******. The experience with Bridgewater Glass was horrible and has left me shaken not to mention financially strained. 25 Oct 2019 - Bridgewater Glass installed a new glass in my living room at a cost of 402.50. 7&8 Feb 2020- the bottom area of the window leaked during a wind and rainstorm. I reported this to BG and asked for help. 22 June 2020 - BG arrived and made repairs - I was assured there would be no more leaks Sept.2020- The window frame continued to leak 29 Sept 2020 -BG removed the new glass, reinstalled, sealed inside and outside. I was told that there was no way it could possibly leak now 06 Dec 2020 - the window leaked again, small amount 17 Jan 2021- the window leaked badly from 6 pm to 1:30 am 18 Jan 2021 - sent a message stating the above, received a reply - "reallt yes, I will come by this week to see you" 5 Feb 2021 - BG did a water test and found two locations where the frame was leaking and patched it with caulking compound. Regardless of any caulking repair that BG did or offered to do, the window frame was compromised. I could not trust this window during a storm so I asked ********* to give me a price on the a new window. There were never any leaks in the window prior to new glass installed by BG. During the times when leaks occurred I would have to stay awake and change towels every hour or I would have had extensive damage to walls, heater, and laminate floor. My health was affected deeply. 21 April 2021 - ** ******* Windows and Doors installed a complete new window (frames too) at a cost of $2320.65 and it was determined then that physical damage to the window frame was done when an employee of BG installed the glass. I had to paint the interior trim and wall area at an additional cost of $70.00. To date, BG has offered an apology and 500.00. Later, they then declined to give me the 500.00 when I told them I would go public with my story and how I was treated by them. Needless to say I am NOT impressed, and I will not Recommend them to anyone.
