  ******* came to my property in September to personally assess 3 trees I wanted removed. We agreed on a price and I waited till November for him to schedule the job. When his worker arrived on my property he said that ******* didn’t assess the job accurately and he wanted twice the money. I suggested then that he just cut down one tree and only a branch off the larger tree. The worker made several calls to ******* but continued to insist that he needed twice the money to do any work. I expressed my disappointment and frustration to the worker for not being willing cut anything.
  It’s a 4 hour return trip to my property, I waited months for the work to be done, had to arranged my schedule and friend to accompany me.
  I complained to ******* but he did not take any accountability for his error or for putting his worker in a difficult situation.
  He said he was doing me a favour by taking the job and that my attitude made his worker feel bad.
  I’m a 70 year old single female and I told him that the whole set up seemed like a scam.

  Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Patricia. We take all customer concerns seriously and would like to respectfully clarify several important points regarding this situation.
  
  When I originally assessed the project, I had a detailed conversation with you regarding the scope, access, and overall complexity of the work. At that time, you requested consideration for a large discounted rate due to being a returning customer and your personal circumstances. In good faith, and as an act of kindness, I did agree to significantly reduce our standard pricing to help accommodate you.
  
  However, when our certified crew arrived on site, it became immediately clear that the actual conditions, access limitations, and risk level were far greater than originally anticipated. At that point, the original discounted rate was no longer sufficient to safely and professionally complete the work as required. Rather than proceed under unsafe or uneconomical conditions, we made the responsible decision to pause the job and reassess telling you that we only wanted to go back to the original quote sent to you via email before you attempted to negotiate a huge discount.
  
  During this discussion, our team experienced considerable frustration expressed toward them on site, including repeated assertions that the work was “easy,” which placed our crew in an uncomfortable position. At no time did we accuse you of wrongdoing; however, we did communicate that the project, at the discounted rate requested, was no longer feasible to complete responsibly. We simply asked to go back to the original quote in which you continue to claim was us asking for double but no in fact it was the original quote sent to you via email.
  
  ATR Arborist Services Inc. will never proceed with work if it compromises safety, professional standards, or the wellbeing of our staff. While we understand your disappointment, the decision to step back from the job was made to ensure integrity, safety, and fairness for all involved.
  
  We sincerely wish you the best in securing a contractor that is the right fit for your needs and appreciate the opportunity to clarify our position professionally.

  Graham and the crew did a great job to restore our property to pre wildfire damage. Cutting and removing the damaged trees, chipping the cut limbs, replanting and fertilizing the newly planted trees. Hard workers and a wealth of information. Highly recommend.

  I’ve used several arborist services in the area, ATR by far exceeded my expectations. Anthony was a pleasure to work with, efficient, very professional and knowledgeable in his field of work. He had his crew out to my property in Crescent Beach in a timely manner to assess our fallen tree. The crew were approachable and completed the work as requested. I found the quote to be very reasonable compared to others in the area. 10/10 would recommend and utilize ATR services in the event arborist services are required again.

  I have had the pleasure of using ATR 's Service on my property on the South Shore of Nova Scotia a number of times. I have found their work is very professional. and Safety of their workers and our property, is one of the reason's we will continue to use ATR as our Arborist. A quote provided by an accurate photo of work required by myself, has been useful. Anthony and his team members can survey your property and provide information on your trees condition and needs to keep them healthy. All interactions with ATR have been honest on their part. You will not be disappointed with their Services

  Had an old and tall Pine tree next to my house that was rotten in the middle. I found it very easy to to communicate with Anthony from ATR, was quick to come view the tree and provide me a fair estimate to complete the work. ATR was able to quickly book me in to remove the tree. The crew that completed the work was professional and ensured the tree was cleaned up well and no damage to my property.
  Would highly recommend!!
